Haven't heard a word since ordering but just got this email from UPS so guess that has to be themDecided to go for a set of the HLs. Wanted the longer blade length and a bit more offset. Went 7-AW, 1 degree strong, MMT 105s.
Looks like Srixon is backed up on orders by a few weeks but it's not even feasible to go to the range right now here so no worries. Maybe by the time they come it'll be warm enough for a few range sessions.
all their irons are 355 as far as I know. You're right in that I don't see it clearly stated for the ZXiRs, but I can't imagine they would change. Can anyone definitely confirm that these are .355 taper please?
Seems like a bit of speculation so far
Pics not loading. They came today and they are beautiful. Should be able to get them to the range on Saturday.
Those look amazing. Can't wait to hear how they perform for you.

The offset is probably the biggest indicator they are the most game improvement of their lineupThey look like Srixons.
Which is a pretty huge complement when talking about SGI irons.
They hide their size really wellThey look like Srixons.

They looked on the smaller end to me but that's just because I'm used to big bulky irons. The AW next to the UW of my GMax set is not a big difference and the GMax's are gigantic. They hide their size really well

I still have my ZX5s and took a flier on the ZXIRs. Looking at them both, I compared them the little sister of your girlfriend who maybe weighs 15-20 lbs more. You see the family resemeblance. And if you met her first, you likely would have asked her out and dated. And you'd only notice the extra weight when she was standing next to her sister.
I think the ZXIR HL are just the third slighly heavier sister.
I have lived that exact situation in the past. Perfect analogyI still have my ZX5s and took a flier on the ZXIRs. this is really a pretty fun campaign they put together for these.
I'm curious what big OEM is NOT 0.355 at this point. They are indeed .355. Just pulled a shaft and the replacement Steelfiber .355 shaft is a perfect fit.
I've had my ZXiR HL's 5 days now (5i - AW) and have hit them twice at a dome (Toptracer) and once with a simulator. Michigan weather is still too cold but will warm up shortly. Descent angles have all been in the 41° - 48°, even with a well struck 5 iron. I'm using their KBS MAX graphite 55 R flex (high launch) shafts which certainly help. They feel great too, I-Alloy is softer that 431 steel. My swing speed with a driver is about 82-85 mph for reference. At 75 years I and can say these have restored my excitement for iron play.I don't have launch monitor numbers, but from on-course play I can say that the descent angle on the ZXiR HLs is insanely good. If you can't hold a green with these irons, you can't hold a green with anything.
