I just did thatNow to rewatch Rogue One.

Still the best modern Star Wars movie by far. Funny how Tarkin's face becomes even more claymation each time I watch that movie.
Kinda interesting how Andor is really a main-supporting character in Rogue One, which now after watching the series feels weird.
My thinking during Season 2 of Andor was that it was strange that there was no mention of Vader.I watched Rogue One right after finishing Andor yesterday as well.
And I had the same thought on Tarkin (and Leia). It didn't really bother me when it was first released, but I definitely noticed the CGI this time around.
No matter how many times I see it, Vader's massacre of the RFTs is awesome.
That massacre was a late add to the movie I think and it's so necessary. Such a great way to cap off the movieI watched Rogue One right after finishing Andor yesterday as well.

Completely agree - his power at the opening of Episode 4 was an effective way to show him off in 1977, but how watching him just continue his onslaught if you watch the two back-to-back really changes things. That massacre was a late add to the movie I think and it's so necessary. Lots of talk about the emperor, but nothing to do with his shadowy enforcer - at one or two points in the season, it felt like the ISB was sort of trying to prove its viability as the Empire's enforcement wing, so it would have been neat just to throw in one line around like "We need to solve this before the Emperor puts Vader on it" type of thing.
After episode 4 every episode is better than the last but I can see a lot of people giving up before then.Tried watching this from season 1. Like the gritty ‘Rogue One’ feel of it.However, was a little too slow for my liking
I think this is spot on. I’m glad to stuck to it.After episode 4 every episode is better than the last but I can see a lot of people giving up before then.
Yea - holds true for both seasons really.I think this is spot on. I’m glad to stuck to it.
