Figured it would be fun to document the current state of the bag and use the thread as a bit of a living document as changes occur.

I am really enjoying this setup currently:

Driver: :cobra:DS Adapt X 10.5 with :graphitedesign:GD AD TP 6S
5W: :cobra:DS Adapt X with :graphitedesign:GD AD IZ 7S
7W: :cobra:DS Adapt X with :graphitedesign:GD AZ IZ 7S
4-PW: :bettinardi:Bettinardi CB24 with :NipponShaft:Nippon Modus 3 105S
50/54: :nike:Nike Engage Square Toe with :NipponShaft:Nippon Modus 3 105X
60: :nike:Nike Engage Toe Sweep with :NipponShaft:Nippon Modus 3 105X
Putter: Lamb Crafted Allendale with KBS GPS
Ball: :titleist:Titleist Pro V1

For 2026 things that will/may change:

  • Shifting to a mallet. I absolutely love my lamb putter but I want to commit to a mallet for a season and see how it goes. Going to try out a Scotty 9.2r
  • Would love to explore a TPT Nitro shaft in the driver. I just have to figure out which one
  • Love my Nike wedges to death but I think it's finally time to retire them at some point this year. I am thinking spring time. I am going to likely try Opus SP and Bettinardi and go from there
  • I enjoy the modus shafts but may play around with some graphite iron shafts like the Axioms and see how I like them. Tried MMT in the past and the were just way to board like for me
  • I want to find a driving iron for playing over in England later this year.

Bettinardi irons is one you don’t see too often! How do you like them?

Betti irons! That's kind of sweet. Love the top part of the bag do with the Adapt X line. Been a while since I've seen an engage wedge, but man I actually liked those from them.

Love em but they are certainly rare and I usually get some sort of comment on them.

I got fit while in the Chicago area at the Oak Brook studio which is super cool itself.

The irons themselves they look great at address, forgiveness is great especially for such a small shape and when you catch it right they feel so good, and they are workable (as much as I can at my skill). My only complaint would be on the oil rub finish staying power.

The engage wedges still are awesome. Best believe I look regularly on ebay.

The toe sweep grind is kinda unique but I really like it

Love the wedge set up. I have one toe sweep Engage 54° that I still have

Alright I have officially moved the Scotty 9.2r into the bag. One practice green session and 4 quick holes on our short course and I like it so far. With the Diamana shaft I do feel like I need to get after the putt a bit more but I think that's a better thing for me as that's what I prefer.

Plan is to report back here at the end of January as I have a bunch of rounds lined up including 54 holes at Old Barnwell in 2 days so feel like I will have a solid handle then.

Small updates:

1) January became a bust with the weather so not much putter updates. I am still really waffling on if I am going to go with a mallet. In my limited testing so far with the Scotty I really like the feel, but idk just something about it I don't get along with but it rolls fine. I will likely figure out a way to test the mizuno M Craft Tokyo. I also have this Royal Payne Mid-long neck putter I am trying. It has around 20* of toe hang which gets me closer to where I want to be from like a 45* toe hang putter.

2) My 54/60 Nike wedges specifically are nearing the end of their days and so I have decided to give opus SP 54 and 60 a run for their money. Got them reshafted and ready to go for next time outside.54 10S and 60 6T. I have gone usual 3 wraps under standard for the grips but also gone an additional 2 wraps under the lower hand and see how that feels

Great updates dude - sorry to hear about the 9.2 - beautiful putter but if it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work.

I need to roll that RP next time I see you 👊

I'll be honest I need to roll it more outside just to be sure so it and the RP and the Lamb will likely all get extended looks outside.

I'm not really a huge club hopper unless its needed like the wedges or if I just tried a club for awhile and it just didn't work ala the qi10 and p790s which got a season and half.

With the exception of the putter where I go full crazy club ho.
