Taylor Made R9 reshaft?

Questions guys...

I love my R9. Curious how difficult it is to reshaft with a ProjectX x-stiff shaft.

Do they make the TM shaft adaptor so it is basically a drop in shaft? Or do I need a special order parts. Can this be done at a local Golfsmith?

heat up the tip...and pull ( not twist) Just make sure the project X is the same tip diameter so you don't need a shim to fill in the space. Local Golf smith should be able to do this.

Yes, the R9 adapter tip is sold on Golfsmith's website. Very easy to install with a little epoxy.

Yup very easy. Order the tip. Prep the shaft. Throw some epoxy on tip and shaft and slide the tip on. Make sure its all the way on. Wipe away excess epoxy and let it cure.

just tap it in!
