Tell us which course is your Home course

Merged with a large thread on this.

thanks, skipped right over the sticky for some reason

Blackthorn Golf Club in South Bend, IN would be considered my home course. Love it good elevation changes for Indiana. Very penal "heather" during the summer that makes you drive it straight or good luck finding your ball. Some good risk/reward holes on the course overall just really enjoy playing there. Here is the link if anyone wants to check it out. http://www.blackthorngolf.com/course/

Chester W. Ditto Golf Course in Arlington. There's plenty of courses near my house, but this is the one that I play the most.

When I lived in Arlington, I played there some. Also played there in a junior tournament about 8 or 9 years ago. Good golf course.

My favorite in that area though was Riverside. Decent rates during the week, and it generally played quickly enough during the evening to get in 18 after work.

Southwood G&CC been a member for a few years. Really open links style course. Great practice facilitys. Love it.

Great tracks! I grew up in Clovis. Had several friends go to NMSU. My Dad now lives in Cruces. Where is everyone playing not the LCCC closed? I thought they were opening a new club outside of town???

I love Sonoma, Picacho Hills and Painted Dune (El Paso). Turtleback looks awesome. How long has it been open?

The fabulous TPC of Michigan. Site of the former Senior Tour Ford Senior Players Championship. Best part of it is, its 10 minutes from home.

Sonoma Ranch absorbed LCCC members since NMSU wouldn't offer them a deal like sonoma did. They opened a new one called red hawk it's so nice, and expensive and the reason LCCC closed down was because Redhawk sued them over some nonsense crap. The city is set out to buy the LCCC and get it running. It's sad to see the fairways overgrown and and empty golf course rotting away! Turtleback is by far my favorite course ever I have to have some pretty creative shots just to par the course It's really hard and it's been around for maybe 3 years.

Here's my home course.

Website isn't great in all honesty but course is good, reasonably priced and it's 5 minutes from home for me - so it really doesn't get much better as far as I am concerned.

Here is my home course, just a short little 9 hole track. I live literally on the 4th hole green and can walk there. Gets crowded but can beat the price just 18 bucks walking and 9 bucks to replay, I often go twice.

RedTail. it was built with no drainage pipes. everyone i know say it's an extremely hard course. if that's so, how did i shoot my only under-par round on it (71)? :)

I am not a member, but this is the course I play most often in my area until season opens, if I considered full year membership at a club it would be this one. The quality equals any private club I have played in Madison (except they open to the public 1 month out of the year), I'd say its just short of U Ridge in terms of quality, but I am biased. The 4 for 3 is an absolute steal of a rate for this course.

The centerpiece of The Legend at Bergamont development is a world-class 7,330 yard 18 hole championship golf course designed by 2 Time US Open Champion Andy North. Asphalt cart paths connect all of the holes, allowing for increased access to the course in wet conditions. The dual-ended Golf Practice Range as well as the Practice Putting Green and Chipping Green allow players to hone their skills before heading out for a round on the beautiful course. Bent grass greens, tees, and fairways and dramatic elevation changes add to the allure of the golf course and contributed to its recognition as one of Golf Digest’s “Top 10 New Courses in America” in 2006.

My home course is Canasawacta Country Club. I have been a member there for a few years..

Used to play that one in high school when we would play against Norwich. Quite a few years ago, but I remember it as a nice course!

heqqr, you're pretty lucky to be located where you are for a golfer.

Yes, I know. I have completely ignored golf for quite some time until a couple months ago. I am now hooked and its all I want to do. Luckily I am in a place that makes it easy.

Man, I can't wait to leave Blair Academy behind and make the Walker Course my home track. That course looks gorgeous.
