You can do it, Gary. I was at 5.6 a year ago in October and am going to finish at 2.6. If I can do it at my age, you certainly can as well. It will be fun to watch your progress.
Tenputt’s Handicap Reduction Contest, 2021/22
Plenty of work to do to get there but I want to go lowwwww. I want to break par once in my life so I love these little reasons to push myself to get better and better.
We are in the same club. We need to get together and play.actually I’m South Bay. Still pretty close I think.
I’m in again. 6 would be my target and I’d be pretty happy with that. Got a lot of work to do to improve now. 
Are you aware you are watching fishing? I honestly didn’t know they televised fishing!

You obviously have not spent much time in the South or the West.
There are many channels and shows dedicated to hunting and fishing.
Yep. It’s actually on the net. That a screen shot in my phone. I’ve got friends that make their living on that circuit.
That’s awesome! I had a friend who did that for a short while but I had no idea it was on TV. Man, that kind of career would be killer. Ok - sorry for the detour.
Held steady at 13.2 after Sunday’s round. May sneak in one more round before the season closes this Saturday. But don’t get too comfortable, that 85 on Sunday would have been an 83 if I didn’t blade a PW 170 yards OB and over the road behind the green!

I’m in again!! I didn’t see this earlier, almost missed it. I had a big drop and it was awesome this year. I’m going back to tele-work next week, which means frequent breaks for golf drills!! I’d love to get below a 5 this year. I think then I’d finally feel like a real golfer!

I would love to get in on this but I currently do not have an established index. Haven’t had an established handicap since 2008. Was going to establish one this year but I ended up not needing to do so.

I’m in. Got down to 20.1 from a 24 this year playing less than 20 rounds. I’m hoping I’ll get to play more now that I’ve switched careers.

This is why I got mine. Not only has it helped me track my improvement but it has made me actually start playing golf. No more foot rakes or breakfast balls. Took about two rounds to realize how many shots I was cheating myself out of.
I have no intention of playing tourneys and don’t have any real reason for a cap. It is just for me to track my performance.
