I’ve found any given day I can play really well or just fall apart.

Started at 8.9, got as low as 5.6, then struggled some but playing well again, now at 7.7.

I didn't establish my official handicap until late in this year, so it's hard to know exactly how much it's dropped, but it has been pretty significant and I'm very happy with it.

If I just average my first 6 handicap rounds of the year using what Grint put them at I was at a 33.4 handicap. My official handicap is at an 18.5 now.

So here we are almost a year later. Started at 7.0 and since my handicap season ends in a week, pretty safe to say this is my new low handicap. It's been a good year.

Update. Dropped to 4.3. NOW its the lowest its ever been.

I established an index for the first time since 2008. I’m going to end the season at 11.1.

Well I started at a 5.8, got down to a 4.0, all the way up to a 7.2 then a lot of up and down and ended the exact same place I started at 5.8

If you entered, please reply to your first post in the thread, so that we can see your starting index and then post a screenshot of your current index, as well as the percentage improvement. The three with the largest percentage reduction will get their 2022 Albatross membership paid by yours truly. I am not in the running. Sadly, my index is actually higher than it was a year ago.

We will give everybody until the end of the day Wednesday to report and then we will wrap this up.

This was a fun follow this year! I pretty much stayed the same through the year and sit at 13.2 right now. Really hoping to change that next year, but need to dedicate the time!

Very pleased with my year despite a fairly brutal finish. 9.5 down from 13.2 with a season and an all-time low of 8.0!

Well went from a 4.5 to a 2.3! Liking my odds this year!! Didn't think I could get much lower than a 4.5 at the time but surprised myself!

Started at 9, ended at 5.4 so a 40% reduction. I’m happy with the progress I’ve made this season.

I still feel like there is room for improvement especially when I have a wedge or short iron in my hands.

This was fun @Tenputt. Nice work! Count me again. Looking to do another ~30% drop again next year. Ambitious but if I keep the workout I did last year over the winter, it might be possible. <5 here I come!

Final Delta. Was able to drop from 7.0 to 4.3 in 1 year. Above is dated 11/13/20. Below is 11/1/2021.

Started at 8.9, now end at 7.9. Lowest was 5.6. So I dropped 11.4%. Had a good year and plenty of golf left too.
