I'm new to tequila, but please trust me and try the Siee Leguas Reposado. It is outstanding.
I'll keep an eye out for it. 👍

More smooth? More flavor? More depth? What should i look for?

This is the best bang for buck tequila out there as far as I’m concerned. Makes an awesome margarita!91C670FD-34B8-41A5-B6E2-D28322AB60E5.jpeg

This is great for margaritas. You could sip on it on the rocks too but for on the rocks I prefer cosamigos.
My friend always has Altos stocked at their house. Definitely worth it when you look at price to quality.

If you are looking for a good additive free blanco for margaritas, or even sipping, Ocho Tequila Plata is pretty damn good!

I don't reaqlly know much about tequila, but I do know this. After a round of golf I and a buddy, adjourned to a nearby Mexican resaurant, which was pretty doggone good! He ordered me a double shot of white tequila. IIRC, it was El Patron Silver, and it was delicious! This was sipping tequila! Something that I had never encountered before! It was quite good!

Had Kevin Hart's Tequila a few weeks ago. Gran Coramino. It was damn smooth and sip worthy

I keep hearing a lot about Clase Azul tequila. Anyone ever try it?

Yep, we had some during the recent Myrtle Beach trip. Excellent, so long as your wallet can take the punishment. I usually flip between that and 1942 when I want to feel fancy.

Mmmmmmm...1942...

After 12 straight 10+ hour days, it’s time for a drink before it starts again Tuesday.

I'm sorry if there's already a Tequila thread out there. I checked but did not find one. I'm a bourbon drinker but have some friends that have recently started to drink tequila. My tequila experience ranges from El Toro to Jose Cuervo!

Last week while on vacation I stopped in a cigar bar, instead of having my usual bourbon I ask them to recommend a good tequila. They poured me a Herradura, I found it to be very smooth, I liked it. I think I will pick up a bottle!

Are there any tequila connoisseurs out there? What do you recommend?
Dobel Diamante is absolutely outstanding. Cabo Wabo is also really good, really pure. I also enjoy some other good tequila but if I could only have one, it is Dobel.

Oh my , how did I miss this thread?

I love a good sipping tequila and the best one I have tried is Don Julio 1942. It's rather pricey at around $130-140 for a 750ml bottle, but it is oh so good!

That’s good tequila. Not sure if it is worth the price. My favorites are Casamigos, Cabo Wabo, Patron, and Don Julio in that order. Always willing to try others but find that anything less than $35 a bottle is priced that way for a reason. You get what you pay for.

Let’s get weird. Should I put a lime in it?

This is pretty darn good. I expected it to be Malibu rum level of coconut, but it’s not at all. The coconut is present, but very subtle. I poured it over an ice ball and added a lime wedge, and it was really good. I could drink this by a pool all day long.
