I like the plan there, both in preparation and then execution once you return! Excited to see how those lessons help prepare you for Cali!1. I am focusing on putting and short game. The easiest things for me to improve as we get closer to the event. Putting daily. I set up a net in my garage for chipping. Trying to get out to the range twice a week.
I have 3 lessons scheduled. One towards the end of October and one in the middle of November for swing. I have one putting lesson in there too.
Going to try and get out once a week. Probably will end up being more like every other week. Life happens and we have tons of sports the next month with Soccer and I am coaching my daughters basketball team which starts up the middle of this month with practice and then games the weekend after soccer stops. Work is crazy too.
2. My goal will be to give feedback/review on every item once a week. This will probably be a lot of practice sessions rather than on the course just because I have played so much golf in the last 6 months with the two experiences I have gone to. I probably will only get in 3-4 rounds the first couple months of 2025 just from fatigue for my family. It has been a pretty big sacrifice for my wife and kids.
I will be in all of those threads answering every question that comes up from THPers to the best of my ability. I know these events are a privilege and the hard part is actually after the event and committing to the reviews. I know what is expected of us. I think I did my job on the reviews from the last time I did this and look to do the same type of feedback but with a better understanding and improved ability.
I will add that I think a lot of golfers that are high handicappers are afraid of these events and reviews because they aren't internet golfers and only drive the ball 200 yards or they shoot 95 -105 from the whites. I know I was. It took me 3-4 years to get the courage to sign up for one of these. But there are way more of us out there than you single-digit guys that hit 275-300-yard drives. Our feedback is probably more important to the average guy who googles a Callaway item and ends up in a Callaway review thread. I hope I can provide that and hope that I will get someone who isn't a great golfer to join these. They are the best things ever.I like the plan there, both in preparation and then execution once you return! Excited to see how those lessons help prepare you for Cali!

Gonna need to find a 5th... Monday through Friday event (5th day is travel back)We are all anxiously awaiting the results of the last contest......"Captivating Education" to fill one of the spots
I still have 4 vacation days to use up this year

You're really going to try to work from the airport the day after singles competition and being exhausted from an amazing week? I applaud you- for us old folks, I'm taking Black Friday and the following Monday off.
Work remote is a beautiful thing
Probably from the hotel, I owe @mrs.outlawx a trip and might try to dove tail a trip on the back endYou're really going to try to work from the airport the day after singles competition and being exhausted from an amazing week? The most recent off course has me so hyped up. Also got confirmation bias that I need to go full graphite.I'm looking forward to see who gets those last two spots and to see the team filled up. Great team so far and these last couple of months will go quickly. Love the work you guys are doing to get ready. Can't wait to see what Callaway has in store this year and who reps their team!
Couldn't agree more. So much to offer all sorts of golfers with your reviews. Good, bad, and everything in between is welcomed on THP.I will add that I think a lot of golfers that are high handicappers are afraid of these events and reviews because they aren't internet golfers and only drive the ball 200 yards or they shoot 95 -105 from the whites. Recently switched to graphite in my irons, and have loved it so far!The most recent off course has me so hyped up. Also got confirmation bias that I need to go full graphite.
I think we get another team member this week!
Watching @Canadan talk to @vgolfman was enjoyable. But I want to make sure everyone on the team listened to what he said on the show- be honest and open to your fitter. Tell them what you like, what you don't like and what your miss is. They can most assuredly help!!The most recent off course has me so hyped up. Also got confirmation bias that I need to go full graphite.

Which part of the bag are you most excited to review?I love it. Can’t wait to tee I up with you soon.
We are going to crush the review portion of this.

Oh that’s a thought provoking question.Which part of the bag are you most excited to review?
Just keep trying to play and practice as much as I can. The opportunities to play will be dwindling soon so just taking them as I can. Luckily I have a SkyTrak in my garage that will help get me to December.2 months out guys, has to be getting real!! Questions:
1. What are you doing over these next 2 months to prepare?
2. What's your plan to share and review equipment after the fact?
Gonna need to find a 5th... Monday through Friday event (5th day is travel back)
I try to do this, and it really helps me get involved, and drive conversations. I would do this with clubs I was reviewing every time, but still found it valuable for all clubs in my bag. Never know who is looking into products, both new and old. This year I tried to post about something or a couple things in my bag each time I played.
I'm thinking you need a high stakes shamble best ball match followed by a 9 hole alt shot match.Finding consistency.
Was really honing in with irons but a lot of old habits crept in yesterday.
Gaining confidence with short game shots. Similar in trying to get one or two shots really repeatable with my current setup so I have something to quickly fit to and lean on at unfamiliar courses.
Also hope the greens are fast because I cannot adjust to slow or even medium speed greens.
I need to find a way to play the same in a match as I do in a normal round. Haven't figured it out quite yet.I'm thinking you need a high stakes shamble best ball match followed by a 9 hole alt shot match.
