Well everything is packed. Flight is checked in. Watching some football and trying to remain calm! I'll be getting up in 12 hours!

He went and got a bucket of Chrome Tour rather than the X to hit and he went along with my silly requests to play the 3w essentially at a 5w length. Seeing the video reminded me of how good the Ai Smoke TD sounds and feels. I wasn’t sure what to expect from that one as I love the Paradym TD and they improved on it somehow.

To all the guys who are making their way to ECPC now, your fitters are the best in the business and will take care of you. They can offer suggestions that we don’t even know about and don’t be afraid to say what you like and don’t like.

Had to get eyes on the guy whose handicap somehow went up 5pts from his low for the year. Got a longer glimpse the next day too.

Upgraded to A. I was hanging lights when my alarm went off and already was B38 2 minutes later. Probably still would have gotten an aisle or row and I’m checking my bag do I don’t care if I’m at front. But didn’t want to risk a middle seat and upgraded.
 
More Unsolicited Advice:

-take as many pictures as you can of your gear while you are using it at The Hideaway. You might not have your gear by the time embargo lifts, and those photos are extra handy when doing early writeups for your reviews

-take pictures of your fitting sheets for your clubs and your putter. You may not ever see that sheet again.

-load up on motion sickness pills before the bus rides if you need them. I get crazy motion sick and only had one spell in the mountains with lots of stop and starting, thanks to the Gravol.

-Have an incredible time, get ready to be showered with crazy level of generosity. We will all be here repping the G, and cheering you all on!!!!

Great advice. I’ve been to 2 experiences and always think Ive taken a lot of pictures, only to think I should have taken more once I’m back home. The fitting sheet is definitely one to not forget!

What a couple days, travel, wife/car, fix Son's washing machine (only a few minor cuts from sheet metal ;) ), get a couple last minute things and now home for the evening.

Anxious is an understatement and hard to remain calm during the mayhem, but it kept the energy high. Probably should start pulling myself and items together for packing. It's about travel time!

I have a really weird calm over me right now- not anxiety, no nervousness- just ready to get this party started. I’m packed- alarms set (like I will need them), entertainment downloaded, and just generally ready to get this show on the road.

So on the eve of travel- I’ll say thank you in advance to everyone who’s followed along on our journey. Those that have supported us by answering questions we may have, given us advice or ideas and those that shot us those personal notes of support- we’re grateful. Same. Super excited. Did a bunch of stuff around house prepping for Christmas so was a little antsy in that sense. But ready to get there.

Not a fan of watching myself in vids or the like, but this I will do. From this snip-it from when I found out I made the Team all the way to now, it's been a wonderful journey! Meeting each new team member as they came aboard and getting to know everyone a little better. These guys are so ready and so am I! Can't wait to be around all that is The Grandaddy and the people that make it possible.
