I am from Montreal......but like a true foreigner, in one of the threads about Graybull, i mistook "NE" for New England and thought the course was like, in Boston.
Naturally i took a bit of very kind ribbing for this.
Since then some have called me Montana Jeff as kind of a spin on the same mistake LOL

It wasn't until maybe a few weeks ago in the Nike thread that I even realized Mtl = Montreal. I always read it as "Muttle Jeff". Lol.
Anyways, really excited for this one. Always looks like a blast spending a few days with Jen and Gavin and getting a deep dive into their products and future. With each Data Experience and the post-experience breakdowns, I also get a little better each time at understanding how to best utilize my own data.

Someone told me once they thought it was Metal Jeff and i was super into heavy metal. I found that really funny lol.
I guess for me it always seemed so simple but if you're not from Montreal, maybe MTL means many things
So ya'll had a call, how much more real does that make this event. How is everyone doing with their data capture before the event? Has this impacted how you are training/prepping your game?
We still have a lot of snow on the ground here so i haven't been able to do anything. I am hoping to get 4-5 rounds in before we go. Maybe 1-2 at my home course and a few others at some dog tracks around here.
I've been hitting the ball really well over the winter. I will probably want to spend like an hour in a bunker Monday morning when we get there if i can. I'd be lying if i said i wasn't concerned about my short game so early in the year
Expand on that short game concern for me a bit. Is that just redeveloping touch/feel? or is there more to it than that?
Lack of feel early in the year 100% . If you haven't chipped much off grass the first few rounds you can catch them a little stubby here and there. It doesn't help that early in the year here is very wet. Also the feel for 40-50yd pitches is usually something you need to work back.
Bunkers also takes time. I haven't done any of this stuff since November
Fullswings is easier because it's just ball first contact and a generally full swing. Easy to maintain that over the winter
Essentially i'm hoping to hit like 16 GIRs lol there or it could be an adventure

You do have wrong handed clubs so there is a very strong possibility here.

Based on not knowing you at all, I would find it hard to believe they couldnt have found a better test subject.
