ChromeTourX trutrack is the incumbent and will be tough to unseat. However a challenger from nowhere has emerged with the ERC soft which has caught fire showing some numbers that were not expected. @Joshnoble01 and I are trying to make heads/tails out of it in the ERC thread or if we are just high on life.

The ERC definitely threw a loop into my plans.

I have a box of ERC Truvis I grabbed based on both of your feedback in other thread.

Yes sir.
You were tagged on one of the Callaway ball threads. In short, we were seeing some increased launch/spin from the ERC soft when compared to ChromeTourX which was surprising and were wondering if that is what we should be seeing or if that doesn’t jive. Need your expertise.

You know... tbh... I would think the CTX but then I played 9 w/ the Chrome Tour last night and liked it alot. When I do the online ball fitting it puts me in Chrome Soft. So... I have no idea honestly.

So depending on who does your fitting, don’t be afraid to ask them to use the metallic stickers on your ball if they are on Trackman. The guy I had initially last year did not use them and one of the others guys told him to put them on. It will make a huge diff in spin accuracy (as evidenced in what I was seeing in my CTX vs ERC soft testing).

Tomorrow will be my first outdoor round. Will be a little chilly and ground will be iffy but I am going to be outside. It’s go time GrayBull!

Did the ball fitting today and not sure if it was a true ball fitting. After getting some baseline metrics using a different OEM's system I ended up improving my spin & height greatly w/ Chrome Tour. I already had some but grabbed a dozen yellow Triple Track to play next.

Thanks for sharing @bigbov - curious, what ball did you play prior to this? CT seems to have been a hit with many, but was curious what directed you specifically to it?

No problem.... I have bounced around. Last season was mostly Q-Star Tour by Srixon and then Callaway Supersoft.
