EXPERIENCE The 2025 Grandaddy of em All with Callaway Golf

Played 9 yesterday and had a case of the pulls/hooks with basically every club, but I think I was just getting too quick from the top.

Got some practice rolling putts last night, though that was solid during the round, and then took some more swings on the MLM2 Pro. Still had shots going mostly right. Launch direction was typically +1.2 to up to 5°. I can live with less than 2° but gotta get away from the higher numbers. Worked some to a -1 ish but really couldn’t get them left.

Just gonna keep at it and have a lesson to record and send in to my coach on Skillest for one more before the GD
Are you imagining hitting a line drive to left-center field? That typically makes me avoid a pull.

I am trying to feel swinging out to left-center but it just isn’t quite getting there. Every time I’ve been in a jam like this before my coach helps me get it sorted so I feel good knowing I’ve got a lesson. Strike location is fantastic so that is a plus at least.

I think a good bit of it is path related. I was even opening the face at address last night and still getting the +1 to 2° launch direction. I know that’s not excessive and I can adjust my aim, but it’s the big miss that way I need to avoid

I’m sure your coach can get you sorted. I also wouldn’t get super worried about a degree either. That could just be tolerance on the launch monitor as well.

True, good call. The round was still haunting me 🤣

Putting practice complete. Time for a heavy workout and maybe some wedge work

I’ve learned that on my sim my misses are amplified, and look way worse than what I get in real life. I would rather have it that way, but it still gets me worked up when I see it on the sim.

You guys... See ya'll next month 🔥🔥🔥. Or wait, do you guys have any plans next month? Because it would be pretty dope if we all went out to La Quinta and had a fantastic time 😏

One month from today, you’ll start seeing pics of airport beers, the team boarding airplanes, and everyone arriving at the hotel. To celebrate being one month away from the Grandaddy of em All, I’m breaking in a new Callaway hat! LET’S GO!

So what are you all planning 30 days out are you ramping up or trying to rest up so you peak at the right time?

Since it appears we aren't getting outside and playing any time soon... Indoor range for practice and a bunch of SIM time as well. Chipping & putting practice at the house. Keeping up w/ the morning workouts and going on a strict diet starting Monday. I have a lesson on Wed and will take another at the end of this month.

As others have mentioned- they should be living in a bubble…

  • Had a lesson yesterday and will be practicing that move as much as I can.
  • Running and working out when I can.
  • One more lesson to double check my specs.

Indoor practice, one more Skillest lesson, possibly 9 or 18 more outside just depending on how long the course stays open. Something golf related every day (except today, taking the kids to a waterpark resort as a surprise). But did double the work yesterday

Before Thanksgiving, I’m going to play three full rounds, and I’ll take two lessons. The week of Thanksgiving I’m going to try to play twice and get in a range session before we leave for California. I’ll rest the day before we fly out as much as I can. There will be some family stuff thrown in there as well, but the Grandaddy will be the only thing on my mind.

Forgot this. Will be avoiding all candy and snacks. And avoiding as many carbs as possible for the next month.

Pretty much staying the course. I have 4 lessons left at Golftec which I might make into 3 with one 1-hour session instead of all 30 minutes sessions. The once a week on the course plan is still in effect and so is the gym 3 times a week. Its not bubble wrap, but I don't plan on anything intensive as the time gets closer.

When I say that... it's mostly beer. Going to have some tonight watching game 7 but then we will cut it way down for the next month. Have to get right for Dec.
