I think the part that I struggled with personally was feeling slightly intimidated- what I mean by that is we have great staff writers who handle the THP article, then I was blessed with some very knowledgeable teammates who could nail a lot of the key technological pieces better than I could...then there was myself who felt more "Mongo hit ball far". So it was finding where I could fit in, and provide valuable feedback....My first thoughts were to take as many notes as possible during the presentation. I will obviously want to get as many pics as possible too so once any embargo is lifted I can use them. I will be extremely active in each thread for the equipment I end up in. I will answer any questions any THP'ers have. I will also probably PM you and all the other alumni for thoughts, tips, suggestions, etc. on how to be better.
Then it dawned on me- not everyone grasps the technology side. Not everyone understands the physics, or the reason they chose to use this metal over this one because of it's molecular properties. They relate more to Mongo hit ball far, than they do with the other items. Realize the reach that your words can have, THP has a ton of readers, even more so than active posters as JB has highlighted. So long way of saying- be authentic and present as much as possible- and you'll be just fine.
