LIVE UPDATE THREAD The 2025 PGA Merchandise Show

I think with that exotic paint job you might be right, but the ability to exact match is awesome
My concern would be how does it hold up to the dirt and grime and continuous washing.

Should in theory, be no different than a car or car rims right?

I would hope so…
May have to take a little extra care to not scratch them, but I wouldn't think it would fade as a result of normal use.

I find the cart portion of the show really interesting. Living in the Boston area I find the concept of owning your own cart quite alien, though I knew one gentleman who wintered in FL and had his own cart, which he said he could drive from his home to the golf course, and even go shopping with it. I think that would be pretty awesome.

I asked this question. I was told no different than any other finish on wheels

The crazy thing is that is a paint job and not a wrap. Was talking to the guy yesterday

Yeah they go pretty exotic at Star EV and they seem to be absolutely killing it now being the main electric at the largest golf cart community in the world.

Our guys are fine to grab things but generally we don’t. We are there to work, see our friends and industry people and meetings. If there is something we need, we ask for it and will have it delivered.
I was thinking more in terms of things like Keychains, Stress Balls, pens and other knick-knacks

They are there but we don’t indulge. We aren’t trick or treaters walking around with storage, but boy do they exist.

Once watched someone walk up to a KBS booth that had golf towels for people and literally take the entire stack of about 100 and put them in a garbage type of bag

We were offered bags several times but as @JB said that’s not why we are there and to be honest I don’t need any of that crap anyway haha

Looked like most people had a backpack on, that could accommodate 100 KBS towels....just in case !

I think i shared this but 14 way users rejoice

Right next to pickleball feels appropriate

I give all the Martini Tees I find to my 80 year old golf buddy....he loves them AND his 14 way

Any good Swag from the show @Jman @jdtox ? or is that considered a nono since you aren't techically buyers??!!
Personally, I’m always there to work, there are plenty of trick or treaters there without me adding to it 🤣

Right!?!

I've never understood the 'grab it all' mentality at trade shows.

Thanks to all of you that followed along this week. So much more to come (working my butt off at this very moment actually), but wanted to give one last taste of the scene at the show.

They won 2025 Most Innovative golf product at the PGA Show!
That makes me really happy to hear. We didn’t see the awards handed out.

Sadly that person was probably my wife’s family 😞
Not proud.

I hope they make their goals on the kickstarter, ship all their pre-orders and take their profits and run... Because I don't see this having any real audience outside of tech guys who think they look like a lumberjack, and ride a 5K carbon bike carrying their 2K in golf clubs to their 20K a year country club leaving their 100K Tesla Cybertruck in the garage of their million dollar condo to be environmentally sustainable.

That's a pretty small market...
They should get acquired by Erik Anders Lang lol.

There's a guy who rides his bike to one of my local courses, but he has a neat trolley setup that he tows behind his bike. He rides through the course with it, too. Making a bikepacking golf bag that you'd remove when you arrive at the course is kind of dumb. This is like one of those ideas that only works for NYC, but that should be a big enough market for them.

I get to go to a trade show/conference every year. All sorts of Knick knack stuff. I really only take notebooks - cause it’s the only thing I used to run out of. Transitioned to even less paper this past year so still have a handful from last year. I’ll be happy to be traveling lighter this year 😂
