LIVE UPDATE THREAD The 2025 PGA Merchandise Show

Thanks for bringing us along for the ride again this year @jdtox @Jman @Hawk @JB A lot of steps for you guys covering it & I know all of us appreciate it very much (y)

I find the cart portion of the show really interesting. Living in the Boston area I find the concept of owning your own cart quite alien, though I knew one gentleman who wintered in FL and had his own cart, which he said he could drive from his home to the golf course, and even go shopping with it. I think that would be pretty awesome.
They're street legal everywhere in town here, you see them all over the place. My neighbor drives his cart to the course (about 4 miles), people take them grocery shopping, out to dinner, down to the lake to hang out, etc. Some people put serious money into their golf carts, they cost as much as a car - lift kits, custom wraps, stereo systems, all kinds of bling.

I would venture a guess that it is the fastest growing segment of “golf” and it wouldn’t be close

It wouldn't surprise me at all, it seems like a huge money industry. I don't see many "stock" golf carts among the personally owned ones around here, every one of them is upgraded/customized.

And the lifestyle is wonderful. Using our community as an example we have about 20 restaurants inside the neighborhood, two grocery stores and banks, etc and all built around cart paths. Funny part is, there is no course here

It's great that you guys have the cart paths to drive on, to keep you separate from the car traffic. Here they just drive on the streets wherever they want to. Most people stay off the main arteries in town just for safety, but they're not prohibited from being on them.

Which is ridiculous...pull some strings and have a cart path cut between here and Palencia. Then I would join a course.

Hmmm. You might be the smartest man alive

Just got back from a week away and I read the 80 pages.

Thanks @JB, @Jman, @jdtox and @Hawk for the hard yards, photos and insights - great to see the show through your eyes, and looking forward to all of the follow-ups and info that comes from it.

Seeing a few other posts scrolling through socials and there is still stuff I don't remember seeing. I thought we hit just about everything but there is so much there its literally impossible to get it all. Going to scroll through my phone later today and see if there is any pics I neglected to post as well.

I don’t recall seeing them but as I said earlier, even though we walked the floor multiple times each day we still missed some things

I would love to go to this show, except I have non of this:

I have a friend that is in the business and he got me credentials one year. It was very cool to get to go and walk around for a couple of days. I am going to try and go back again at some point.

I’m in the same boat and have my eyes on this

I am interested in this one as well. I like the fact that it has a screen to use outside. I don’t love needing my phone out to see numbers.

Wonder how it does it the heat. In the summers here in NC I can't use my MEVO during the day as the sun causes my iPhone to overheat and shut down. Fairly annoying TBH.

As much as i don't want to move on from my X5, that G6 is sharp.
The X5 touchscreen and my fingers have just never worked well together.

I will be interested to see how the touch screen on this is. I don’t feel like the X5 touch screen is as good as my friends with Garmin watches. Obviously the shot tracking is way better but the screen could be better.

Any interesting new releases with center shafted putters and/or zero torque putters from brands other than Lab? I know odyssey has their square2square putters and there is the PXG zero torque center shafted putter.

Bettinardi has I think 2 different models of zero torque putters
