EXPERIENCE The 2026 Cobra Classic

Its interesting because its something we have gone back and forth with a lot.
It ups the cost for participants a tiny bit. It also means another round of tips for caddies.

With that said, that up in cost doesnt even come close to covering the practice round costs and its a 10k package for $800, so I think we are doing okay.
I mean, the price is up $100 over last year, and it adds an 18 hole practice round at Ballyhack and 3DP irons. Versus a $50 practice round we all paid for outside the event anyway and core lineup irons.

I think the value is excellent, probably even better than last year

We tried to find better but everywhere else had scrambles going on. Quail was our last hope, and it almost worked.

i think my favorite part of this thread so far is some random course catching strays*

* and no doubt me catching deserved strays if Quail Crossing is a well known course and I just don't know

can I just say the snake logo on the right in the OP is one of the coolest things I have seen. Pretty sure it even beats the Beans and Waffles logo

It was the course we had our practice round at for the 2025 Morgan Cup. I scheduled it for both teams, it definitely could have been better.

I love the gear test stipulation, this one is going to be one to watch.

I like the sign up requirements and also the intrigue of not knowing the team until you get there.

I wanted to charge a lot more, @JB wouldn't let me :ROFLMAO:

Value is beyond outstanding no matter if it was double the price!

Gear testing is just so much damn fun... work, but fun.

Hot damn this is gonna be so effing good!!!

Yes! Full deets and they are glorious. I will definitely go try out the gear this month and just need to remember to snap a pic for the signup.

Not shocked the C-suite exec wanted more blood. lol
Based on what I've seen in other threads about what people are willing to pay for a golf trip that doesn't include meeting with the people who create the product or a full bag of clubs and scripting, or food and drinks.... just saying lol

Again, I mentioned it in a prior thread, but can we just take a second to thank Cobra, THP
and all those involved for putting this Experience on? Like seriously. It is pretty stupid incredible and just hats off to all to get this across the line for us as a community.

Are non US citizens eligible for the experience as well ?

Of course. We had someone from overseas play in a Cobra event two years ago and a UST Mamiya event last year.
Just need to be an Albatross Club Member and signup when it officially opens.
And it's damn well worth the trip!

Oh you could definitely go much higher. It's nuts adding in an earlier check-in and extra practice round and the price only increased $100.

That is soooo much golf. I LOVE IT!! The gear is going to get a hell of a workout there! And a new wrinkle to signups is a nice addition

I did an amazing trip to Myrtle Beach last year, and it was honestly a fantastic value - but when you add in food/drink and extra rounds outside the package - I put out double what this Experience cost…and my trip didn’t include a $3k+ bag of highly sought after golf clubs.

I was expecting higher to be honest. This is insane value monetarily. But that doesn't even begin to cover the priceless component of being in the room and course with some of the top minds in the industry and having their ear for three days.

There's zero chance I'm not trying to manifest this one for myself :D:love:

Exactly, and fwiw a full bag including 3DP clubs is likely to cost closer to 5k

I estimated my -24 MC bag, without having 3DP's, to be that already. So must be higher.
