My grandmother went to the island for Thanksgiving and brought them back. It had been a while for myself as well. But typical Puerto Rican heated debate was whether to eat it with ketchup or not. And unanimous decision was to eat it with Ketchup!

My brother has been to the island twice this year and my parents once (dad was born there and moved to the states when he was 2, rest of his siblings who are older had the chance to get into their teenage years before the family move) they dint bring any back.

The ketchup is an interesting debate and choice. It's always been picante or none in my family. I may try the ketchup next time.
