Photo Heavy The Food Porn Thread

I meant to post this over the weekend but forgot when Florida tried to cost me money lose. These are some homemade Chicago Dogs in Miami. Not the typical Vienna hot dog that I would typically get (they are from Wild Fork and were really good) but I did special order a $12 jar of neon relish. Wife and I have been craving them for a while. A little throw back to our dating days in Milwaukee.

Just found this thread...lol. yall really do talk about everything. I like to dabble in the culinary arts. With a concentration in unhealthy southern cuisine. Lol. Some snippets of what I like to cook. First pic is gumbo. Other pics are smoked meats

I see you don't have a lot of posts here at THP yet, but keep going in this thread! Oh, and when adding pictures, click the image where the "insert" text is and you can say to add "full image" instead if the thumbnail. We all will appreciate that better as it is easier to drool that way.
You are not far from me either.

Actually, @SVonhof is technically the host if we’re able to get on at Pinehurst. I just encourage THPers to get together and have some fun!

This lasagna alla Napoletana took me two days to make. 7 hrs on Tuesday for the ragu, and then 3 hrs on Wednesday to assemble everything and bake. Cooking everything yourself without sou chefs (i.e. kids to grate the cheese, etc.) takes time. And no, I don't have anything fancy like an electric cheese grater. I've rediscovered my love for things Italian.

Pasta al Limone (Pasta with Lemon sauce - a taste of the Amalfi Coast... Positano is the major town there) in one of my new pasta bowls. It's a very simple dish made with olive oil, lemon zest, lemon juice, basil or mint, black pepper, and Peccorino cheese and of course you need a good linguine. A Pinot Grigio goes well with it.

Mothers day, I smoked St Louis style ribs, did crock pot ranch style ribs, Mediterranean orzo salad and Watergate salad (a 70's recipe) and roasted garlic bread and a Cookies and cream cake from BJ's (cake and bread not shown). It was a ton of food for 4 people!
