That bark makes me barkThis was a few weeks ago. We had cut up pieces of pork butt that I smoked and then paired with some peal couscous that I made with onions and carrots. Didn't need the knife that is shown.

The one time I bought beef cheeks to cook, i learned you need to be a bit careful.I have tried to get beef cheeks from a local butcher shop and have not been successful. They say they can request them and sometimes they can get them and they would call me. I have asked about them twice and no calls.
There is a new butcher shop we have not been to yet, but will try there as well.
I gladly accept that challenge (if I can get some).The one time I bought beef cheeks to cook, i learned you need to be a bit careful.
Let's say they were 1lbs each, the butcher shop sold them to me untrimmed and required lots of trimming, reducing the yield of meat significantly.
The good thing is that you can't eat a ton of them as they're so rich.
