I am deliriously happy that hitting a few balls off the mat in my neighbor's back yard a few days ago re-motivated me, I'm back into my "off-season" training, and expect to be out playing again in another couple weeks

Wife played her first round of golf today. 9 holes, +19, 4 bogeys, 1 par. Her favorite part was the cart and my favorite part was everything.
Congrats! That's not bad at all for the very first round. Well done!
Funny, when my wife played her first round her fav part was also driving the cart. That and eating (and giving out) the various snacks she had packed for herself and our playing partners.
Wife won’t see this but wanted to throw it out to the universe. She is better than I deserve and works so hard for our family. Couldn’t be more grateful for her in my life. Just an incredible person. Gonna try to be better in all I do.

When do I need to be there?
The last 1.5 months has been my best stretch of playing, I think ever. Bunch of sub-80 rounds, lowest index that I can remember, 2 Eagles on Par 4s, a scarcity of 3 putts, getting up and down more frequently, played with my 19yo son a few times who has a new found interest, and having a blast with friends. Let’s keep it rolling!
