I floated going by LDax today & it wasn’t a no (as long as we got Birdie Shack tickets).
Making moves to get out of the basement.
ya the rollout of the rebranding of the team was a little confusing to meInteresting Na just left LIV. Not a lot of news on what happened, just that he is not on LIV anymore. It is pretty significant. Reports say An Byeong-hun is replacing Na. It is also interesting that the new General Manager Martin Kim named the club Korean GC when they have a Japanese player.
Bryson and Rahm will be leaving once contracts are up. They both gave the same “committed” answers before leaving to LIV.I watched the press conferences for the team captains yesterday. It pains me to say that Bryson and Rahm didn't give the most "convincing" responses to the question about Brooks and returning to the PGAT.
I think for 2026 they are fine and no issues there, but 2027 will be interesting with contracts and decisions.
The thing to consider is that Brooks was able to get out of his contract. Which could mean that there was something on LIV that changed that essentially allowed him out. Rahm and Bryson most likely have different contracts and they could be structured very differently therefore not allowing them out.. For example. Liv owns Bryson's youtube channel. That is something to consider..I watched the press conferences for the team captains yesterday. It pains me to say that Bryson and Rahm didn't give the most "convincing" responses to the question about Brooks and returning to the PGAT.

This is debatable. Someone said it, so it must be true, because Bryson and LIV, have both stated that Bryson owns the channel, LIV owns some of the media rights. Which would be normal for any professional athlete when their league is involved. For example. Liv owns Bryson's youtube channel. That is something to consider..
Rumor is that DJ's extension will be multi year. Bryson & Rahm have more leverage, so they should wait.I watched the press conferences for the team captains yesterday. that doesnt surprise me. He literally gives zero f's about being back there lol give that man his moneyRumor is that DJ's extension will be multi year. Bryson & Rahm have more leverage, so they should wait.
I think 2027 is going to be a huge year of changes for professional golf, it will just be interesting when during 2026 those changes start getting leaked from all parties invovled.I watched the press conferences for the team captains yesterday. Maybe its true maybe it isnt. I dont know. But it has been said a few times by a few different people.. And I dont believe much that Bryson says.. But, I tend to live by the idea that "You never believe something is true until it has been officially denied".. lolThis is debatable. Someone said it, so it must be true, because Bryson and LIV, have both stated that Bryson owns the channel, LIV owns some of the media rights. Brysons interview on teh subject
“What’s funny is, and I can say this, I’ve invested over $1 million in YouTube,” DeChambeau said. “Creating a company, and being able to effectively distribute the AdSense revenue and all this extra stuff, and it’s what I want to do, it’s what I care about.”

I will. No need for the "do you".. I am just discussing. Its not true.
But you do you.
Maybe... But you can already see LIV shift to a more international focus (The vast majority of the events this year will be International), I think that this is how LIV grows and survives long term.Bryson and Rahm will be leaving once contracts are up. They both gave the same “committed” answers before leaving to LIV.
I agree here and you can already see it in their communication. "World's best" and "international" being used a ton. Changing Iron Heads to KGC, the piece they did about Stingers ties to South Africa. Their socials are really pushing this and I think its smart of them. Play in the sandbox that PGAT leaves alone for the most partMaybe... Yeah maybe. But players will change. Some of the players on this team could be relegated. What then? I get in sports. The Real Madrid doesnt mean they have to be from Madrid.. Just thinking out load.Maybe... I think that this is the long term way forward, I think that we will see even less US spots in 2027 forward.I agree here and you can already see it in their communication. It will be more interesting to see as their contracts expire.
He just signed a multi year extension so he is fine and we all knew he wasn't going anywhere.Rumor is that DJ's extension will be multi year. Bryson & Rahm have more leverage, so they should wait.
To me, hes the one. He is the piece to all of this.Rahm bothers me the most or he has a good poker face. I love him as the captain for Legion, but I get the sense he hates the drama and will take the path of least resistance. That might be the PGAT bc I would imagine they would offer him a sweeter deal than Koepka.
Bothers you?All the contracts are not public. What we do know is that those under contract or in the final year were not going anywhere. Brooks and his deal was up and if he was going to bounce this was his option to do it. This is why he called Tiger in December before deciding to go back to LIV or if the PGAT would welcome him back.
As far as his YouTube, Bryson owns that and he has said so many times publicly. LIV owns certain media on there and allows him to use it, so like any other entity, it makes sense they have rights to certain LIV content. IMO it's a big nothing burger

Bryson is unique in that he mentioned that with Crushers they are running lean and made a $20 million profit last year and will be bigger this year. I am not sure what the PGAT can offer to top that because that is real earning versus the "projected" player equity that hasn't been realized and is highly dependent on the next TV deal.

Not quite the same if we are being honest. This is a final qualifying to go straight to the big show. A more comparable showing would be the final leaderboard for KFT Q School final stage.Agreed. Here is the most recent Q School qualifier leaderboard
