Well @MSEASU and myself are going to have a some match play contests! We both play at the same cap and we both fluctuate up and down. I asked him what we were going to do to bring our caps down to our goals of 5. Having a set match once a month against each other will hold us accountable and make us prepare to play. We each have things we want to focus our practice on and it will be good to test it under pressure on the course. @MSEASU can get on a roll so i will have my hands full getting ready. The loser each month has to cough up some swag to the winner :ROFLMAO:.

Here is the details;
Both players currently at 8.9 caps
monthly match play no stokes loser buys winner some swag
first match will be set for Feb and last match in Nov
lowest cap at the end wins!


Here are my goals and things i'll be working on i'll let @MSEASU list his out! This should be a lot of fun and i like winning swag :ROFLMAO:

My focus will be:
Mental game-learning to play without thinking about the swing while i am swinging
125 yards and in-there will be tons of practice in this area for me as it costs me some strokes each round
putting-a huge weak part of my game right now but a new Seemore mini giant DF is inbound soon to help with that
lessons-i always take them and love my instructor will continue these
making shots under pressure-need all the practice i can get here
course management-stop going for ridiculous shots play smart
new clubs-because we all know new clubs make you play better right :LOL:-seriously might be making a change we shall see

Good plan. I would suggest a new to both of you course so that you can see if handicap travels and if you can make adjustments on the fly.
 
This is my plan because if I lose I will never hear the end of it.
  1. work on getting rid of early extension with pro
  2. Work on speed
  3. Short game 20-100 yards
  4. Focused range time
  5. Work on flexibility
  6. Chipping and putting drills
  7. Mental game- I’ve been under par and coughed it up the final few holes
  8. No Instagram or YouTube instruction
 
Sounds like a good time. Should be lot of THP live round thread action.

You should get new clubs and try to copy everything you see on Instagram

You must have a lot of those stored for reference when you are on the course!
