Trouba is terrible, I can’t believe Drury got them to take his whole contract.

The pick doesn't matter, the player doesn't matter. Unloading the entire contract is huge.
 
Yeah I have no idea why we took the entire contract without a sweetener...that's dumb. And have a huge logjam at D with Fowler coming back as well. Not sure what to think. We suck anyway so whatever, but not getting anything for taking the whole contract and getting the Rangers out of a Cap issue is bad

They’ll probably try to flip him at the trade deadline. Retain some salary and basically buy a draft pick or two that are worth more than what they gave up.
