The season wrapped up yesterday, and once again, the Stanley Cup stays in FL.
This is the new thread for the new year.
 
Can’t wait for the schedule to come out so I can plan my fall trip to Tampa and attend a couple games.

I highly doubt it happens soon, but the rumblings of Houston getting a pro team back and using the Aeros name excites me. If we had that back in town I would definitely go over a football or basketball game.

That feels like a LOOOONG time. I don't disagree, but wow I would not have guessed three decades.

To be fair to Canada, the league is made up of 25 US teams and 7 from Canada
 
This, also weird...a Canadian Hockey team has not won the Stanley Cup since 1993, and, the current NHL Commissioner, Gary Bettman has been the Commissioner since Feb 1, 1993.
 
Hockey fun never ends. I love the off season too and all the movements.

Where do you think these big names will end up at? Here are my guesses
Mitch Marner: Chicago Blackhawks
Sam Bennett: Florida Panthers
Nikolaj Ehlers: Washington Capitals
Brock Boeser: Carolina Hurricanes
Brad Marchand: Vegas Golden Knights

I think the next few weeks some big names are going to move in trades no one saw coming. With the Cap going up it is going to be fun watch

I don't see the Rangers signing Ekblad. Seems like they're trying to get younger as they traded away Kreider and Trouba. Zibanejad might be next.
I can see Ekblad going to San Jose as teams like that will pay the most for his service.
