The Official 2025 NFL Thread

I came across this graphic and it is mind blowing how the Texans are playing defensively, without being exotic

You can play a simple defense when you have 4-5 All-Pros lining up on that side of the ball ha

A much needed change for the Chargers

Now they just need an O-line. I read an article this morning saying that Herbert was pressured on 30 of his 31 drop backs last game.

Rodgers isn’t wrong about any of that, though. Every couch potato on social media spitting venom and insisting they could run a team better than people who’ve spent 40 years doing it for a living.

Fans aren’t making the actual decisions any more than they were 20 years ago, though.

I think they have the O-line, they just need them healthy. When they were, the LAC were pretty efficient offensively.

Mike Tomlin just stepped down

After last night you could see it on his face. He has run hit time in Pitt. I bet the other open spots come running to him

Between that and analyzing talent, I can tell you that they definitely have heard about "all of the experts".

Where does he go? Year off? Can't go to Ravens. Are you going to Atlanta or Giants where you may or may not have a QB again?

Could you imagine if he went to Baltimore??
Can't do it, can he? All-time heel move. I have to think Ravens hatred is personal for him after 2 decades. Can't burn down his relationship with Steelers can he?

Can Tomlin go to the Browns, Harbaugh to the Steelers, and Stefanski to the Ravens? That would be awesome. :ROFLMAO:

My son and I are discussing the idea of Tomlin, Harbaugh, & Stefanski all just rotating teams. Would be amazing.

Harbaugh doing it seems less weird for some reason. I don't think either of them is going to a dog**it organization like Cleveland. Doesn't matter how funny it would be.

How will Zac Taylor be longest tenured coach in the AFC North next year?

Is Tomlin even allowed to coach somewhere else after stepping down on his on while under contract through 2027?

Tomlin is good enough and young enough to take a year off if he doesn't like the available jobs this year. It wouldn't shock me if this is what he did

The Packers would be a good job if Lafleur is fired. But i don't see him interested in Cleveland or the Jets or anything

I'm going to guess this is a mutual parting. Let's Tomlin save face from being fired. But who knows.

He can make plenty of cash as a talking head. Don’t think the networks aren’t blowing up his phone right now.

Plus it’s way less work.
