The Official 2025 NFL Thread

I'm going to guess this is a mutual parting. Let's Tomlin save face from being fired. But who knows.
This is what I was thinking. Big reset for them and you have to imagine Rogers is also done (i know he said he was, but he's known to change his mind)

He can make plenty of cash as a talking head. Don’t think the networks aren’t blowing up his phone right now.

Plus it’s way less work.

Right, do TV for a year etc....Wait for the Cowboys or someone like that

Or start dating a 23yr old and take a college gig , and have her run your social media

Problem is no one wants CLeveland. lol

Harbaugh doing it seems less weird for some reason. I don't think either of them is going to a dog**it organization like Cleveland. Doesn't matter how funny it would be.
Yeah.. I don't really see Tomlin or Harbaugh going to Cleveland but man that would be so funny. Stefanski could easily go to Pit or Bal and pound Cleveland for a while tho.

I can see him going to the Dolphins or Arizona and stabilizing those teams

RIP Rams

Makes sense - steelers haven’t fired a coach since 1968 lol

I get that the Rams are the warm weather team. But aren't they way more built to handle cold weather than Chicago? Great running team. Good Defense. Block well and don't make a ton of mistakes. I think this hurts Chicago more than LA.

ha ha I was at the Pats/Titans game in 04 when the temps were close to 0. That was brutal. Crack open a beer and it was frozen.

Chicago can run, has better RB's imo, I'll give the WR edge to LA, but Chi has the TE edge. I just think every thing else is equal and give home field to Chicago.

Maybe I was wrong about the OL

That can be a flawed metric in the absence of context, though. Having 3.43 seconds to stand in the pocket and go through your progressions is a lot different than spending 3.43 seconds scrambling for your life before you throw the ball away to avoid taking a sack. The numbers are the same, but they're completely different stories.

Better job security too.

This is amazing

Cool to see the Ravens owner have some fun with this

Bills lose another one

this had to happen, but until Hurts allows the OC to expand the playbook, whatever offensive coordinator that comes in will be limited

Will the Rams actually run the ball? They can get pass happy.

Hard to tell which stat is flawed though right, because is there a time parameter on the pressures stat that you quoted?

Tomlin AND Harbaugh available for Atlanta you say?

Make the call Ryan!!!

Another fun stat for the secondary

Yes I think they will. They get pass happy because they are so good at it. They are happy to run the ball too. I genuinely think McVay will be happy to own the ball for 40 minutes and not let the Bears have the ball.

I was there also and it was sooo freaking cold

There is no way this doesn't affect the Rams coming out of a dome.

WOW...The headlines write themselves
