That's an interesting turn, would love to see Philip succeed as a head coach! I think he'd bring a great culture to a team, he'd just need to surround himself with good/experienced coordinators and assistant coaches.

No way he would get the Head Coaching Job. If he wants to work his way up , quarterback Coach or some other assistant position , maybe . I am amazed at all the people who are mortified by the firing and saying McDermott needed one more chance. He got one this year and more amazingly after 13 seconds and after that. And as far as peopleshredding Pegula for the press conference he mentioned 13 seconds and some other issues. Not a public speaker but i can also say years ago when we were on the verge of losing the Sabres he saved them without Pegulla they would be gone. And after Ralph Wilson died and the vultures were circling and would absolutely have moved the team he saved them. And after Goodell who never would have saved the Bills pressured for a new stadium with the threat of forcing a move Pegulla came through and got a stadium deal done . I agree Mcdermott needed to go so i am giving Pegulla a chance and hope they make moves that lead to a Championship. Looking forward to seeing who the Bills hire.
 
 
Listen, who knows, maybe the Browns will end up with the right hire out of all of this. But the way in which that franchise makes a mess out of EVERYTHING across the board, all the damn time, is kind of astonishing. And when that happens over a long-enough period of time, ya kinda have to start looking at the top, and that's the Haslams and Andrew Berry. Honestly not sure how many owners you could argue have been worse in North American sports than the Haslams have since they took over the Browns franchise.

I just read the list of candidates who have told the Browns they are removing themselves from consideration for the HC job. All the jokes aside, the Owner and GM must really be a mess of a potential HC doesn’t want any part of the organization

I hope A-Aron stays in Pittsburgh, he and McCarthy get into a sideline brawl, and then get banned for fixing games.
