No pure tough guys left. I agree there. Now they have to actually have some skill instead of just being walking liabilities on the ice. No room on rosters anymore for a stand alone brawler

Lots of guys who can do both, but not overly feared.

Funny, I was just watching Toronto play Montreal the other day making me realize how much I miss Andy on the Jackets. Dude has so much jam.

As bad as the joke is, and it was very bad, the “well no sense of humor” after he skated off was even worse. Take the mic away.

it wasn't even a good joke. It was a poorly timed, terrible joke.

The fact that she had a mini tantrum because he didn't play along makes it worse.

fans get mad when their guys aren't tuned in and focused on the game, and then get mad when they don't have a sense of humor at the same time.

Even if it was a good joke, it was poorly timed. Post game after the win, maybe. Middle of the opener? Weird. Awkward. Lame.

That's pretty much the opposite of soft.

Exactly.

I think if she had maybe only made the plastic fork part of the joke it might have landed because it’s specific to one thing. But saying someone needs bubble wrap because of injury history is never funny to that person.

It's finally game day!! Am I more excited or more nervous? We did not get better this offseason. Arguable to some that we got worse. And some of the reported lines during these last few days of practice are concerning. So many questions, but it's game day! I have the beer fridge ready for both happiness and despair :ROFLMAO:

As a former goalie, that makes me so happy even for the Rangers. I’m just amazed at the launch angle off the blade and the velocity
