The Official Banter Away Thread

Meeting at 230 pm today, one of those great meetings where no one wants to tell you what it is about except for "restructuring".

In the end they are spinning off my department again, putting it under a 4th different manager this year. This new manager will receive no training, and have no idea on how to do anything, and have no historical reference on how it was done in the past.

Who is the only person working here now who knows all of this? Me.

Do I want this new job? Am I applying for it right now? Not a chance in hell.

We have hired two new technicians in the last two weeks. The second started on Monday, and we were all at the same site yesterday.

Long story short, after about an hour he looks at me and says "you've been with the company for 17 years; Kyle has been for 3. Why aren't you the manager?"

"No comment" was my response

I went a bit nuts with my readers and got them from Zenni with titanium frames so they don't break.

There's something to be said about the hustle of an addict. If they had the strength to kick the addiction and kept the hustle, they could be sitting pretty good...... 🤷‍♂️

I love love the parade year after year like a kid on Christmas morning, but I can’t help myself and I feel bad (sorta)
 
Reached the stage of toddler liking throwing things in the trash that are not garbage. This was more fun as an uncle :LOL:
