I’m finished at work on July 3rd and we aren’t leaving until July 12th, kids are at camp July 7th-11th. I’m such a Jack homer I really want to play Old Works before I go so I’m planning a trip over there that week.

It's about time to book a weeks vacation and I can't decide what I want to do. My son was diagnosed with severe UC and we can't do family trips at this time. I was thinking I'd do a "staycation" and golf all week at courses I don't usually play. I've always wanted to do the Brainerd MN trip but it would be weird doing it as a single.

I knew today started out a little rough, but man

Get around to leaving for a tee time and realized I'm running late.

Half way to wrong course realized it was a different day today and fortunately was in the way to correct course anyway.

Now I'm way early. Plenty of range time...excited. Get range balls and place by e-cart, go fill up water. Come back and head to range and knew I forgot about something.

Got some stretching in early picking those up. Double machines getting ready for me because I was early I thought. Haha, women's league today after I tee off...whew.

Having a great time swinging the new shafts. That was an odd feeling after a 5I swing. Oh looky there.

Okay, out it away and continue the fun and thankfully only two other guys there. 8I head flew 120yds down range.

Walk, no jog of shame as they let me go out and get it.

I decided rest of bucket was for wedges and woods.

Can fix those but man what a downer. Had a great day and beautiful weather except wind was a bastard. Good times.

So this is a new one.
I ordered a small barrel shelf from amazon it was to be delivered today.

I got a strange email saying thank you for your return. Your order has been refunded. I didn’t return anything click through and see that it’s the item that was supposed to be delivered today.

I was confused so called Amazon. I get somebody on the phone who says yes, your item is running behind by two days, so we refunded your order. They swear to me it’s still coming and will be here on Friday. I’m not sure I believe it.

Played well, beautiful day, and only had one shot where I needed the 8I. Choked down in the 7I and sufficed. Was a comical start and actually laughed about it with the starter. Those two guys went out right before me and already told him about it. Haha

Received a phone call earlier today from the office manager stating that our marketing department messed up; we always sponsor a hole at a industry golf tournament where we challenge the groups to outdrive the "pro" (played by one of our staff) Apparently they dropped the ball and the usual suspects are booked up elsewhere so I may have to step in.

I'm not really sure how I feel about that - it could be a really long day only hitting 30 golf balls over the course of 5-1/2 hours. But on the flip side it's like a day off work
