The Official Banter Away Thread

Again, it was 80 degrees yesterday

House listing craziness in full swing. Landscapers out front redoing flower bed, granite guy in the kitchen working on a stain in the island, mover coming this afternoon for a quote, house cleaner tomorrow, handyman tomorrow to swap out pendant lights we want to take with us for cheap ones we don't care about, house photos on Monday afternoon... and non-stop cleaning, sorting for donations, boxing things to store in the garage before the photos in between it all. 🫠
Photo day was a lot of work. Moving trash cans out of site etc
Good luck!

To bring some levity to my dreary, gray workplace, I have secretly been putting up signs around the office the last few weeks.... a lot of my handy work has been above the only urinal near my part of the office. Anyway, several years back, our former VP of Sales had some kind of passive aggressive sign put up asking people to flush the urinal (understandably so), so my inspiration has spun off of that.

A coworker in sales thinks our safety guy is putting up the signs, so I overheard him ask the safety guy "I don't think many people around here know who The Fonz is anymore". Lmao.

Is it immature? Sure. Does it make me smile? Yes.

My previous works:

And my latest work that will go up today - Robert Stack used to scare the **** out of me as a child:

Got a new locking knob put on my office door at work. They had to redrill the hole because of the old knob/latch combo in the door. It moved the knob up maybe an inch. They never moved the strike plate in the frame the latch catches. New knob locks, door doesnt latch.

Next week is going to be almost in the 90s! Thats kinda amazing!! Need to get my **** swing figured out to start playing full course golf.

They can only do one thing at a time. Coming back tomorrow to move the strike plate. :ROFLMAO:

We've been in the 80s for the last weekish, and next week we drop back to high 40s low 50s

It's horrible- I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and wish you all the luck in the world.

I missed getting a question in (don't really have one off the top of my head anyways) but thanks for another AMA @JB, especially in a time like right now. Always love the little nuggets in those that eludes the skimmers.

Today has been one of those days where if something could go wrong, it definitely is.

Grand scheme of things it's not that big of a deal, just code breaking and what not causing me extra work...

I'm in a safety meeting on Teams right now, and my goodness, no wonder we have failed on every fire drill in the past 3 years......
