Talking with a friend this morning about one of those iPhone vs Android tests where users switch for a month and report what they liked and didn‘t and it got me thinking about golf clubs.

If you were to create your opposite bag, how would you do it? To make it easier, we will work with in labels.

For instance if you are playing blades, you would go with hybrid irons. If you are playing something forgiving, you will pick something penal. For irons, the easiest way to do this is based on size. For metal woods, it might take some research but low spin vs mid-high spin is probably an easy aspect or offset models, etc. Putters, mallet vs blade.

So put your bag together for opposite challenge like this.

Driver: Current - New
FW Woods: Current - New
Hybrids/Utilities: Current - New
Irons
Wedges
Putter
Ball

Let’s see what people come up with.

Driver: Epic Flash SZ 9* - cobra extreme
Fairway: Epic Flash 3w - callaway super hybrid
Irons: JPX919 forged - ben hogan icons, cobra speedzone long iron
Wedges: RTX4 - ben hogan equilizers?
Putter: anser style blade - LAB (shudders)
Ball: srixon zstarxv - Cut blue

Driver: Epic Flash 9 - Not sure, this is pretty forgiving and midspin. I guess opposite would be very low spin? Maybe the Mavrik SZ 10.5?
FW Woods: Game a FW and heavenwood, older but forgiving models - Mavrik SZ 4 wood
Hybrids/Utilities: 4i G400 Crossover- Would play a couple hybrids, again Mav Pro?
Irons - G410, forgiving irons - Mizuno MP20 blades
Wedges - Vokeys - CBX2
Putter - I'd guess a big ass mallet, since the one I have isn't particularly big. Maybe a Tour Edge Wingman of some sort
Ball - I like spinny balls, so would go with the lowest spin 2 piece ball out there to be different

Driver: Epic Flash 11.5* Smoke Black - New I've really starting to hit this well, so hard to deviate....To be opposite I can't go Mavrik Max...So Speedzone Extreme.
FW Woods: Ping G410 5W - New Currently not getting along with this....Mavrik Max 5W. hopefully adds forgiveness.
Hybrids/Utilities: Ping G410 - New Dropping hybrid using a 4i. Cobra SZ, Cleveland UHX, etc. I'm doing this one.
Irons Ping G410 - New Ping markets these as middle spectrum GI...I'd go to a Players club like Cobra King Forged Tec
Wedges CBX2 and Vokey SM7 - New Hard to go opposite when i sorta have both sides in the bag... Can a say SM8 and get away with it?
Putter SL EXO #7 - New Have to go Blade here.....Toulon San Diego Stroke Lab Putter. Full offset Face ballanced.
Ball Cut Grey - New Bridgestone Tour B RSX

Current - New (opposite) -- Cobra options

Driver: SZ Xtreme 10.5* Hzrd Y - SZ 8* Senior Flex
FW Woods: SZ 3W - King Forged MB 2 iron
Hybrids/Utilities: SZ 3H - King Forged MB 3 iron
Irons 4-PW Forged tec OL -- T-rail VL
Wedges -- Not really any cobra options so I'd stick with MIM (they are sweet)
Putter -- no cobra options, but have to switch to an oldschool blade maybe Ping Answer
Ball -- Bridgestone Tour B X -- e 12 soft.

some of this seems fun, and some gives me the shakes....

Irons - Flow set King CB/MB 4-G
Wedges - King Wedges

Opposite
Driver - SIM
3 Wood - Mavrik Max
5 Wood - SZ Tour (I'm guessing a high lofted wood is opposite of a utility iron)
Irons: T-Rail 4-P
Wedges: CBX2 48, CBX2 52, CBX2 Full Face 56, CBX2 Full face 60
