Your baby look just like mine when she was a puppy. So Cute
Haha, I wouldn't call her a baby. She's going to be 6 this summer. She was up to 60lbs but we put her on a diet and she's trimmed down to about 55.

that's basically been me... for months.
Any breed in general you want or just excited about potentially getting another dog?

mid size with a great temperament is basically our only criteria.

Then you need a basset. After labs, retrievers and setters, we got one this year and love her to bits. Google 'basset humour and see what you get.

Bassets do not have owners, they have staff........

This cat is a monster.

My wife is pleased that I finally have something in common with George Clooney.

Wife keeps toying with my emotions regarding another dog.

I really want it to happen.

Mine has too, but I’m on the other side. I grew up with animals but they had jobs.Dogs hunted or worked cows, cows were for selling/the practice pen, horses were either projects/training or to rodeo on.
The dogs we’ve had together are couch cushions.

hahaha that's hilarious.

Off to take Arrow to another vet appointment. Poor boy already had one this week and now another and this is a lot over the last couple of months. But if we can avoid another surgery, its worth it.

Got the girls a treat dispenser toy. Hopefully will stimulate and distract them from their destruction. So far it’s been a hit!

That looks awesome!

We have so many different treat dispensing toys for Arrow. Most of them he figures out so quickly he gets the treat out in 5 seconds. I recently got him this one that I broke up into 3 different toys and it's been good for him so far. The ball lasts the longest. I put a glucosamine treat in there and he will play with it for a good 20 minutes before he finally gets it out.

I know a lot of the rubber stuff is hard with puppies or destructive dogs. Fortunately, Arrow isn't destructive, and is missing 12 teeth, so we never have to worry about that.

My wife just the Furbo for our lab, which she programmed her voice into to throw him treats during the day. So now, her voice comes through the house, muffled & distorted, while I’m working. I thought the house was haunted.
