So I’ve read that adding counterweight to a putter benefits about 1 in 3 people, which doesn’t sound like much. I’ve always been streaky but the last two years I’ve been getting yippier and yippier and desperate for a change. I love my putter, an Edel 4.0, but I‘ve had a tough time ensuring an even backswing. Recently, I read about counterweighting and bought a 60 gram Tour Lock Pro as an experiment. Installed that a couple of weeks ago and it felt really good. So good, I decided to go even heavier. My 80 g came in tonight and I changed it out and went right to the putting mat and drained 20 in a row from 7 feet. Even better, it feels so solid in my hands. Obviously, I need to countersink it a little more. Any other success stories or epic failures?
