Holy ballooning 9-iron. Back to even. Couldn't get up and down from where I landed. Even.
I'm tired and sore from yesterday, and getting steep, but that was ridiculous.
Edit: I can see the fatigue in that swing. And it would have been a bit of a spinner in normal conditions and setup. Yuck.

Not how you would draw up cutting the corner on the dogleg, but lucked out with a clear path. 197 to the pin, straight into the wind.
Took a horrible bounce off of something just short of the green and ended up in trouble. Worked a par and LOST the hole on a nice 15' birdie. -2, AS. If we get out again this year, I'm not playing poorly fit irons for a $300 bet. Those ferrules need to get here, toot sweet!
Challenging round. Grateful for the day though. Can't beat 76 and sunny in mid November, even if the wind is blowing.

49° and sunny. Playing the tips (7050 yds). Last two money matches have been a push, so there's a lot more than we normally bet rolled over onto this one.
I'm playing all new clubs, so it could be interesting.

Had to include this tee shot on #4. We were talking about the green, and he was saying there's no way to hold it if you land it pin high. 185 yd, 7-iron, it held. Good shot of the new white ferrules too. Grips arrived today, so I'll finish them out tonight.

Couple bombs to get there, but wind pushed me left. Kind of botched my pitch, but made the 15' birdie.

Hate this approach on 8. Hate it. Nothing useful to aim at. The gopher hill in my stance isn't helping either.

It was a big tee shot, but not big enough to get over this damn hill. Someday I will clear this hill. Some day.
3W approach went left and I'm just off the high side of a very unpleasant green. :/
He tapped in for birdie, and I missed mine low side. -2, 1 up.
Good tees and approaches on 13, but neither one of us could hole a birdie. I came up short for the second time today which is completely unacceptable in my world.
Now we head back into the wind. Long par 5 to start.

We both took this dogleg, but could only make par.
I put myself right in the middle of the split fairway on the next, but caught a good lie.
2 putt for me from there, and he made that for an up and down par. -3, 2 up heading to 17.
168, back pin, really uncertain wind. Feels like it's at our back here, but the flag is not moving.
Tried an easy 9-iron. Ended up pin high about 20' right of the pin.
