THP Live Round thread!

I know we're all watching the grandaddy thread this weekend, but I'm going to post this for posterity, because it might be my highest score of the year. I'm just now walking off Bear Creek east course by DFW. I tweaked my ribs on 6, and there was a 2-3+ wind, but I've dealt with both of those things before and scored well. I just shot a legit 85, WITH an eagle and 2 birdies. Also had 4 lost balls, and I don't know how many bunker shots. Longest made putt was 7 ft. Lordy, lordy was it ugly.

This was basically how I was rewarded all day for anything I I executed the way I (thought) I wanted. Lol

If that's you in the top of the back swing photo why do you call yourself "OldandStiff"?

Approach on 17 from 173 for birdie and a good drive and up and down on 18 for a decent finish, but man, that was some kind of round. God Bless Texas.

It's just a name that came from not playing for a lot of years and seeing the differences in swing. I don't look much different physically, but my swing is night and day different. I got razzed for looking older and stiffer with my swing than it seems like I should/would when I started playing again. Just kind of stuck. Depending on the guys I play with (old vs. young) it's a joke in either direction. Not meant to deceive anyone.
 
As a side note - if you like bunkers with sand in them or flat tee boxes, don't play Bear Creek Golf Club. At least the East one. West is supposed to be better. The only one with good sand was the one I plugged in. That one picture is a great example of how often you tee off with the ball above your feet. Really annoying into the holes that slope right to left like that.

The Green were not up to my expectations so I didn't feel like a Live presentation we indicated.

Tomorrow we will play a better Game

Slight delay. The threesome in front had a cart break down. Carded a 7 on 10, but bounced back with a monster drive on 11.
