Bad break on tee shot then compounded it trying to be too aggressive. Had to take an unplayable on my way to a smooth triple.

Had a decent look at bird but burned the edge and tapped in for par.

48 actually. 20 mph wind out of the South making it seem a little cooler on the hands though. Balls are frozen. Shouldn't have left then in the vehicle last night.

Scratched out a par after the bad tee shot to start. Whew.

So far it is better to be lucky than good. Lol

I'll try to post the video of my tee shot at 4 after we hit this next one. Pulled it left, bounced off the hill, and rolled to about 15 ft.




8-iron to a 169 pin. Pulled it a bit and wind didn't push it right as much as I thought, but the hill sure did!! :p

It won't let me upload the video from 4. 'Oops we ran into a problem'.

Missed a really slippery 8 ft. birdie on the last after a phenomenal drive, but just sank this 54 footer for one on the next after a bad approach wedge. Gotta love this game.

Back 9 was a struggle. Hit in water on par 3 17 and made double and again in water on par 5 18 and made bogey.

Finished with a 40/45 for a 85. It was fun and room for improvement.

Had some visitors on 18!!!
 
Looking at his pictures we're jealous. So I'm posting this one just so sizzle knows how lucky he is. Our creek is frozen solid.

Starting the back. Par 3 #10 is playing 239 and directly into the wind today. Also looks like the little *ss green wasn't enough today, so they put the pin about 5 feet from the back left edge. I hate this f-ing hole.

Edit: it was like 4 ft. At most.

Trying to keep it going. This is the toughest stretch on the course.


edit: I'm trying to go back and add videos where I can.

The 11th tee tests the mental game when the wind isn't blowing the ball off the tee a couple times before you hit.
