Would be fun to hit this one, as I hit the core version over the moon hahahaThe GT1’s are so easy to hit , this is a must try.
Works for me!Tour preference. It’s all we need to know.![]()
So is this basically a GT1 with a stronger loft to get the tour players spin in the right window?Works for me!
That’s what the article says.So is this basically a GT1 with a stronger loft to get the tour players spin in the right window?
14.5 with a shallow face off the deck does sound fun hahaI bet this thing is a rocket launcher in capable hands
It’s definitely more shallow. Less forward CG as well comparably. The 2+ was essentially a mini without being a mini, this is super focused on ability to launch off the deck, it’s just stronger lofted to get it into the right windows for stronger players.I wonder how close this is to the 14.5 TSR2+ in terms of looks/performance. Probably a bit shallower with a similar footprint would be my guess.
It is a direct response to the Taylormade Qi10 3 wood being used on tour. Titleist had to respond with something since so many players were using the Qi10 without even being paid to do so. Titleist had to make some changes and release a whole new model based on what players loved about the Qi10.I admit to being kinda confused by this one..
Yes and no.It is a direct response to the Taylormade Qi10 3 wood being used on tour. Titleist had to respond with something since so many players were using the Qi10 without even being paid to do so. Majority of top 20 OWGR have been using TM Fairway Woods and Ludvig, Macintyre, and Wyndham all were using TM Fairway Woods despite being under Titleist. I'd say if those guys under Titleist who were using TM switch to the GT1 tour then it's about as direct of a response as you can get.Yes and no.
They’d already been working on this for some of their Tour players immediately after they all saw the GT1, it’s been in the bag of a few players out there for a good while now.
Could it end up in more? Sure. But it wasn’t exactly done as a 1:1 response to TM.
Yes, but that’s not why this was created. It’s a piece of the puzzle, but not the why.Majority of top 20 OWGR have been using TM Fairway Woods and Ludvig, Macintyre, and Wyndham all were using TM Fairway Woods despite being under Titleist. I'd say if those guys under Titleist who were using TM switch to the GT1 tour then it's about as direct of a response as you can get.
I was just wondering.... Would you happen to need another fairway wood?I don’t need another fairway wood, I don’t need another fairway wood.
