Titleist GT1 3TOUR Fairway

The GT1’s are so easy to hit , this is a must try.

Would be fun to hit this one, as I hit the core version over the moon hahaha

This is very intriguing. I love my DS Adapt but i owned the TSR2+ and had some great times with it.

Very interested in hitting this

So is this basically a GT1 with a stronger loft to get the tour players spin in the right window?
That’s what the article says. 😜🤣

Oh man, this is really interesting. My GT3 3 wood isn't really working out for me -- this is one I'd absolutely love to test. Very curious to see how the slightly lower loft and moving the weights affects ball flight.

I bet this thing is a rocket launcher in capable hands

This is getting ordered today. Shorter to make it automatic. Going to take a guess on the shaft.

This sounds like a really fun club. I want to hit it.

Excited to watch this one..

This release is still a really interesting one to me

I wonder how close this is to the 14.5 TSR2+ in terms of looks/performance. Probably a bit shallower with a similar footprint would be my guess.

It’s definitely more shallow. Less forward CG as well comparably. The 2+ was essentially a mini without being a mini, this is super focused on ability to launch off the deck, it’s just stronger lofted to get it into the right windows for stronger players.

I admit to being kinda confused by this one..
It is a direct response to the Taylormade Qi10 3 wood being used on tour. Titleist had to respond with something since so many players were using the Qi10 without even being paid to do so. Titleist had to make some changes and release a whole new model based on what players loved about the Qi10.

Yes and no.

They’d already been working on this for some of their Tour players immediately after they all saw the GT1, it’s been in the bag of a few players out there for a good while now.

Could it end up in more? Sure. But it wasn’t exactly done as a 1:1 response to TM.

I'm not the fw player I'd like to be and randomly decided to pick up a GT1 5 wood to try. Put an AD DI 7X in it, playing a bit short and moved the heavy weight to the front of the club (13g front and 3g rear). Played this past Sunday with it and it was a rock star for me. Incredibly easy to hit and it is pure confidence looking down at it.

Being the crazy person I am.... I now have the 3 wood to try! lol...

Majority of top 20 OWGR have been using TM Fairway Woods and Ludvig, Macintyre, and Wyndham all were using TM Fairway Woods despite being under Titleist. I'd say if those guys under Titleist who were using TM switch to the GT1 tour then it's about as direct of a response as you can get.

Yes, but that’s not why this was created. It’s a piece of the puzzle, but not the why.

I don’t need another fairway wood, I don’t need another fairway wood.
I was just wondering.... Would you happen to need another fairway wood?  :ROFLMAO:

I have the GT-1 5 wood with the Air Speeder and really love it. That shaft and head combination for me and my swing are awesome.

I don’t have the new tour, but the std GT1 3 and 5 woods have changed my fairway game.
I played the back tees today and was right next to the green on every par 5 today. Dare I say they are the best fairways I’ve ever gamed for me and my needs. Have a ventus TR blue in my 3 and Graphite design AD DI in the 5. Being able to dial in the duel weights is incredible.
