Any SD/SoCal folks know how crowded Torrey is these days for early morning walk-on play during the week? I know a few years back you'd have to camp out, but when I called last week to make an advanced tee time, the Torrey rep said I'd be able to get on by just showing up at 6:00am.
I'm planning on playing on a Monday morning and it would be just me... anyone know if what he said is true? I willing to show up at as early as 4:00am, but not willing to spend the night in my car. However, I don't want to show up at 6:00am only to find out I have to wait until noon to play because 20 other people were already ahead of me.
