Tour Edge is stepping into new territory with the launch of its first-ever line of golf balls, marking a milestone in the company’s 40-year history. Long recognized for its Exotics line of clubs, the brand has built a reputation for premium performance and innovative design at attractive price points. Anybody that has followed the THP […]

Didn't expect to see this. Definitely looks the part. The packaging looks futuristic and premium. I like the price point, especially if it competes with other tour offerings. Definitely something I'll consider looking into 2026.

Did not have this on my bingo card this morning.

Makes me wonder if there is really space for companies to be profitable in the golf ball space? It seems like there are tons of options now.

Wow. Was not expecting this. I would give them a try.

Saw the post about these on the conforming list so nice to see it wasn't just a prototype- interesting that they've decided after all this time to dive into the ball game as we all know it's crowded and difficult to breakthrough. Will be interesting to see how these perform and whether there is staying power there.

This comes as a bit of a surprise. Lots of talk about the performance in the wind which is appealing where I play. And it sounds like it’s really good in the short game. How’s the distance compared to other balls @Hawk?

Reading the write up I must say that it appears TE has made a tour level ball @ $39.99. Distance comparable to other top tier balls and has plenty of greenside side spin?? I'm certainly intrigued.

Very interesting move for them.

Curious how this ball works for me!

saving $15 a dozen is big for me

Very surprised to see this, as I thought the ball market was already pretty crowded. At this price point it seems they’d be competing with Maxfli and some of the DTC companies. The fact that they say they’ll be sold in retailers probably gives them a leg up on some DTC companies. I’ll be interested to see how it goes for them!

Sound like a very solid ball that I would love to try. Price point is very friendly, keeping with TE tradition, and like that the feel is mid range as opposed to quite firm.

Sounds like an interesting ball. The write up was wonderful @Hawk

I have a lot of questions, in general. How white is the bright white compared to other balls? You both said it's an ultra thin top layer and that it has good durability - do you consider that possibly a fluke that it lasted you that long or did you not hit any cart paths / rocks / sand etc?

Looking at a great value, we get a lot of premium balls with buy 2 get 1 free or buy 3 get 1 which reduces their price down from the $60 mark to $40/$45 when we bulk up our purchases. At roughly the same price point is wind really the selling point on these?

You're describing a ball that sounds nearly ideal in terms of sound/feel to me. I really do like the Z star series (as well as a lot that Srixon has to offer) but always interested in competition too.

Lots of good info in the article @Hawk

At $40 a dozen I’ll definitely give these a try. I like having more premium options in this price point.

I’ve been able to put them in play for a round already, so I can help a little here.

Color wise, the white is white, not a little off-white like some other more affordable golf balls.

I saw good durability, played the same ball all round and by the end I only had one blemish, which was thanks to a gnarly bounce off of a sprinkler head.

Honestly, it was an enjoyable go round with it, nothing jumped out to me as over the top great, but more importantly there was also nothing that I thought was dramatically lacking.

Always like hearing about something new from Tour Edge, and really didn't see this one coming. Sounds like a great first offering, and will be fun to give them a shot against other balls at that price point and above.

Sooooooo many golf balls being sold right now. If you can grab a little bit of the market share you are making money.

Seemed right on par for what I'd expect from a ball like this. I didn't notice anything unusual. Lower spin on full swings, which is good for me.

I did actually hit a sprinkler head and put a mark on it in San Antonio. I don't think durability has much to do with hitting hard objects though tbh. If you expect a ball to withstand a cart path you are bound to be disappointed.

I dunno man. Give it a try. It spun quite a bit off a wedge and seemed like a nice ball. Good company and good people too. I always factor that in, at least when it comes to giving products a shot.

Love this. And at $40/dozen it should get attention if it performs.

Everything sounds good with this. I’m sure it will fly under the radar like their clubs do but be solid for anyone that pays attention and gives it a shot. If I come across some, I’ll give them a test.

Any chance this year's TEEm Tour Edge will get some of these to test and review?

I've been waiting for the info to drop since seeing the social media teasers. That's a great price point for what this ball is delivering.

Once they roll it out in yellow, I'll give it a try for sure.

My first knee jerk reaction to the headline of their tour ball was "Why?"

But then I read the brief review and thought it might be my ball - lots of short game spin, gets the spin up for irons, feel is not too soft nor clicky and then thought how about driver spin? Any comment?

Any comparison to ProV1x?

I mean, I can get 4 dz ProV1 balls for about $165 or so each March with the Loyalty Offer

This ball is not very similar to V1x in my opinion.

Price alone make me want to try it.

Any word if they'll get these in big box retailers like DSG or GG?

Couple of questions:
1) Any idea if yellow will be offered?

2) Who is making this ball for Tour Edge? Foremost, SM Parker, TM/Nassau Golf?
With Tim Clark being involved at Tour Edge now and having been at Wilson, I would put my money on Foremost since they make Wilson urethane balls.
