It wouldn’t be a Tour Edge release without the club that put them on the map, the fairway wood and no game improvement lineup would be complete without a hybrid. As with driver, there are both X525 and E525 designs which help make sure there is something for everyone. Each of the clubheads are each […]

Nice writeup @Jman! I like alot about these. I played a TEE 4 wood for almost 10 years, so have a soft spot for them. These look great and pricing is nice.

Some criticism on these though. They are bonded hosels with only Helium shafts offered. And zero lefty options in the E525 series. Following their approach to all the C725 lines as well. That ticks me off and would make me look elsewhere for woods to be honest.

Calling it right now. That E hybrid will be killer.

The amount of bulge/roll on that face is wild.

Man these look so good until you get to the crown.

I'm gonna sound like a broken record, but I'll just quote:
The aesthetics on these are amazing, I love the improvements they've made; they look so futuristic!
I love what they've done with this line improvement!

Like the look of these, the Houdini sole (always looks great.

Just like with the other clubs in this release, very solid looks all around. Those are some big ol' hybrids but the forgiveness is going to be off the charts with them.

They have a ton of other shaft options which they can be ordered with, additionally, the helium was chose because that fits the demographic that Hot Launch is aimed at. Odds are, those needed more are going to go Exotics.

I know you hate the lefty thing, but the reality is it doesn’t make sense for smaller companies to make all those heads that will just not sell. The numbers and data dictate what they do, they’re not all just hating to hate.

That stood out to me too, those hybrids look THICK, and it makes me want to hit the E’s hahaha

Black and gold were my high school colors, and at my PT job back then, my employee ID was 11.

I may have to rock the X 11 wood just for those reasons alone.

Great looking clubs. The E hybrid looks great. And the X hybrid shape is intriguing.

I've been in the dark on Tour Edge clubs for a while and that Houdini sole is interesting.

Really loving the sole on these. Once again can't beat the pricing

That V shaped leading edge on the X hybrid is crazy looking to me. I see that digging into the ground but maybe it's just my eyes playing tricks.

I guess this is why it's called the Houdini sole, lol

It’s, a lot. Hahaha

But I do think there’s a place for the offset clubs, especially in the price range where HL lives.

It'll actually prevent digging for the golfers it’s aimed at

Guess that's why it's called the houdini. It's magic haha

It really is why, hahahah

It’s not for everyone or usable in all designs because of the mass it puts so low. But here, it actually aids the design to help launch and spin. Kinda cool.

That is pretty cool. I've never gotten along with hybrids. Not for lack of wanting to haha

A little bump to say I took a flyer on the X525 6 hybrid last week. As usual a quick turnaround by Tour Edge. Believe I ordered it on Wednesday and it was here Saturday afternoon.

I had assumed the top was going to be gloss, which I always feel like cheapens the look of the hot lunch series, but much to my surprise it’s more of a matte/satin finish that gives it more of a premium look over previous hot launch lines in my opinion.

I took it out of the wrapper and went and played 18 holes. I used it three times.

Once on a downhill part three and hit the green. Par.

Had a poor drive and punched out of the tree line with it, and then from 155 out to a raised Green I hit the green and made a 22 foot putt to save par.

And then on 154 yard approach I used it from the light rough and put it to about 12 foot. Easy 2 putt. Par.

I’ve struggled to find a 6i I like and really love my Tour Edge Exotics Xrail 5h. This might finally be the missing link in my golf bag. Love what I’m seeing so far.

Forgot to add. I wish they had the E model in a 6h. As I don’t really like alot of offset. To be fair though the face isn’t shut. It’s just sits pretty far back from the hosel. The offset works though as it’s a high flier.

It’s Odd Tour Edge cut the 6h out in the E model as both Hot Launch models have always had a 6h. Otherwise I would have bought both and did a bake off. 😀

I feel the same way. I would love to see what TE could do with one more higher lofted hybrid (29-32 degrees loft) in these lines.
