In 2022, Tour Edge made a focused effort to get into the putter game. While that specific segment has been a slippery slope for some brands, Tour Edge entered with a long history of walking the line between providing golfers with options that hit performance and price points. The Wingman 700 Series was met with […]

This putter feels about as good as any I have tried this year and comes in at under $170.
The blue finish is rock solid and the face milling is really well done.

Another great article @Jman the more I look at the spider style, the more I like it, and I’m not a big mallet guy, midsize, yes, big no. But this one looks really good.

I’ve become genuinely amazed at all the Tech the TE is bringing to the table at comparatively bargain prices.

Hope they can keep doing this! If i can convince my wife to stop on our way home from my nieces birthday, I’ll give this a whirl in PGATSS on the way home this weekend.

Great article, @Jman. The finish on the putters looks so good in pictures and I know others have said it looks even better in person. I hope to get a chance to try them out.

I'll echo what others have said. I'm so impressed with Tour Edge products and even more so at their price points. More people need to give them a look.

Good write up @Jman. I really need to let my mallet bias go and try one. I love the look of the 805 but it's a toe hang and I'm a face balanced guy.

Gun to my head right now, I'd try the 801.

That “W” milling looks really interesting

That is a truly impressive price point for a putter that looks that good. I dig the blue finish as it looks very clean and refined. Kudos to Tour Edge for upping their game from a sound perspective with VIBRCOR and I dig the W milling pattern on the face. It passes the overall aesthetic test for me and the price point is kind of insane.

This putter looks so much better in hand and hard to beat the price.

Not really my shape, but I am impressed by what I'm seeing. The face milling alone is a huge win. I really like to see that Tour Edge is taking feedback and getting better.

Great writeup @Jman and this putter looks fantastic! The price is SOLID! And I love the milling!

It really is an impeccable putter for the price. While I think the other two shapes this release cycle are a little bit out there, they nailed the spider look.

It’s not too big, it’s aesthetically pleasing, the roll is excellent, and the feel vastly surpasses the 169 dollar price tag.

@Jman coming from the 700 testing for 2024 TEEM Tour Edge, have they changed or removed the weighting that was available?

I couldn't see from the pics, but I probably missed it.

It’s been removed. Part of the significant revamp.

Honestly, it’s worth having lost that aspect just to have truly fixed the sound/feel, and boy have they.

Love the shape, it's really well done. The W milling on the face is interesting, very unique. Price is killer too.

I can't get enough of that blue finish... I would love to see it bleed over into some C series irons...

Those were probably my only two things that were negative with the 700 line, the sound for sure but the pricing of the weights I thought was pretty ridiculous.

The sound was really really not good to be honest hahaha

They absolutely crushed that this time. I wish personally there were some more shapes, but like I said in the release and then the review, I respect the heck out of them for picking their path and sticking to it.

While I tinker with putters, style/shape, weight, length and even insert/non-insert, and sometimes different metals, this one is really intriguing. The shape (I keep going back to the article to look at it, and compare it to others on the TE site), is really REALLY growing on me. The color is tremendous - actually one reason I purchased a couple putters from the Ai One line - part of that was the color. I find putters help me more when they are strong contrasts with the golf ball. I sort of think just about everything about this one seems like a winner, though I had to look up the grip (haha). The milling by itself seems hi end, add the other elements, one wonders how that price point was met.

Great review! Tour Edge continues to make quality equipment at better prices than the big OEMs.

The “gun blue” finish is really well done.
