True Temper Steelfiber Nexus

Love this! I am right at the point where I need to switch back and to the nexus in my regular driver. Get back the consistency I was having when it was plugged in. Lost it when I switched out of it.
It’s weird that I took it out in the first place. I had a few bad rounds after major swing tweak and maybe refused to believe it was the carpenter and not the tools?

Will be putting this back into my main driver instead of the mini next time I play, which should be 36 holes with my buddy at Kenwood CC in Cincy! I been missing the accuracy of this while trying out a different shaft.

I am really wishing GG would not of messed up and cut this down shorter than I asked... I would love to see how this shaft plays at 45+ inches.

Moving the black to a Callaway tip.

I have all these heads that I honestly have spent little to no time with this year, so, I need an engine for them. Its been a minute since I have hit this one, and I'm curious once more.

Have the blue on my Callaway Ai Smoke. Once the tempo is locked in whoa mama.

I hope to hear some positivity out of this!!

Its been a year of REALLY good (for me) driver shaft options. Each I have tested has just been, really damn good.

I thought for sure this would have been the one that stuck, but testing was testing, and things matriculated elsewhere.

That said, the black in 60X in the TD Max head sounds kinda intriguing haha

Should be fun, if nothing else!
Definitely brought a quite a bit of stability and consistency to my Driver!

Hoping I can get into a sim this fall and winter to get some good numbers on this shaft alone and vs the other shaft I tried this summer.

Gonna miss hitting this outside during the winter time but knowing I have a solid shaft option that I can be confident in for next summer is a great way to finish this season.

Might be THE most under-appreciated driver shaft release of 2025.

I would have to agree. I wasn’t sure if it was a niche shaft or what but I absolutely saw a change in accuracy and consistency with this shaft

Its one I really do want to revisit now, I had so many different things to work with that even with all the success I had, I never circled back.

Thinking a Callaway adapter since I have got the TD and TD Max Elyte heads here still.

I have it in the Ai smoke TD and that’s where I’ve had a ton of success and I am really glad I got the chance to test this out

Nexus Black 65X is officially cured into the Callaway tip. Taking it out tomorrow in the Elyte TD Max.

I’ve done some tinkering/experimenting with shafts as well as trying some short and mini driver builds, and currently the Black 65X (now at 44”) still hasn’t been knocked out of the bag. The combination of handle stability and lower half action continue to be a winning combo for me.

I think the black IN a mini driver could be a riot.

I’d need a little softer for off the deck but for tee only it would be great

Here we go! Have fun!

I have dabbled with this. For some reason I saw more spin with the nexus in the mini than I was seeing with the Denali I had in normally played in my mini.I Didn’t have it on a monitor to get numbers but you could just see it happening. no idea why that would be but would love to get on a monitor to confirm what I was seeing

Is there anyone else that gone and tested these out at all? @Jman did you end up putting it back in play?

I did for a bit, but other reviews came in and took my focus elsewhere.

I stand by it being one of the most surprising and best performing releases of the year, there were just SO many others that came down the pipe that I feel like peoples attention has been spread out more.

I’m surprised there hasn’t been more people testing or trying it out. This winter I am hoping to get some numbers between the nexus and the proto.

LOTS of really solid golf shaft releases this year, specifically in the driver segment. It’s crowded.

Not to mention, sadly, many are still name driven more than performance.

I would love to see an irons shaft that is setup similar, steelfiber in the hands and not the entirety of the shaft! It’s a great feel
