TV Streaming Services thinking about cutting the cord

The only thing I'll miss while they have their pissing match is ABC for a show on there.

I work for a small company and for a boss I've known since my high school days (his kids and I graduated together and I spent much of high school at his house) so I manage the technology for him and his wife. Let me tell you, losing these channels on youtube tv was a category 5 hurricane this morning with his wife not being able to watch her shows.

They've currently been switched over to Hulu Live.

I'm going to ride it out and see how it goes. I really like the multiview and still have access to the standard Disney Bundle with espn so I'm not in a huge hurry to make the switch yet. I do hope things get figured out though.

The beauty behind no contracts is you can leave and go back.
I havent had a dispute with Directv Stream fortunately and think their UI is superior for those that enjoy both streaming and a classic cable guide.

I come very close to cutting the cord on cable TV, but love my Rangers as well. I have Verizon. One option is to buy the Gotham Sports app - that will get you the Knicks and Rangers. And you can elect to pay by the month and cancel when the regular season is over.

I've figured out that I only truly watch about 5 channels on cable tv anyway.

Directv Stream doesnt have that restriction and has more sports.
I'll check it out and compare their plans and prices against their competitors.

They will settle it. I’m not worried since I have a backup

@JB which DirecTV Stream package do you recommend?

And DirecTV Stream recently added Disney+/Hulu and ESPN+ at no additional cost. I'm sure that will be the reason for a rate increase next year,

I still have Xfinity cable. My father in law switched to fiber optic and has DirectTV. He gets local news channels and many RSN's with a sports package. Picture quality is ok but not as good as his old Spectrum or my Xfinity. Could also be speed with streaming.

After a few months of nothing but apps I pulled the trigger on Directv Stream this afternoon. Choice package seems to have everything I want/need so starting with that
