Selling a couple of my JDM drivers to make room for another purchase. Both of these show typical Japanese fanatical attention to detail and are in very good to excellent condition. Shipping in the U.S. is included in the price.
First is a driver head only plus the original headcover. It is a Baldo Prototype VT511. Loft is 9.5 deg. Hosel bore is the usual .335. This driver is quite deep faced and produces a lowish ball flight with low spin. It’s reasonably forgiving and a real bomber on anything close to the middle of the face. I found it slightly fade biased but only just. Asking $125.00
Next is a Ryoma D-1 Maxima. Loft is 9.5 deg. It is shafted with an Axiv tetra-axial 6060M. This is a mid-launch, mid-spin, 60 gm. range graphite shaft. It cpm’s at 258 so is a stiff flex. The grip is a NO1 Pro black/red with two extra wraps of tape. The original head cover is included. This is a great all-round driver that does everything well. Quite forgiving, it’s mid-flight, mid-spin and maybe just a touch draw biased. The Axiv shaft, while a couple of generations old can still stand with the best. It was a $300 shaft 10 years ago. I know Michelle Wie used this same model shaft for a while and it was very popular on the Japan tour. Asking $175.00.
If you’ve ever wanted to try a JDM driver but couldn’t afford to pay $1000+ for a driver here’s your chance.
Thanks for looking. Let me know if you have any questions.
