Using Trackman

6 months without using a TrackMan. Any new features or updates I should know ?

If you use the iO, the biggest update is probably Angle of Attack data for hybrid/woods/driver.

For Trackman as a whole (TM4 or TMiO), they've revamped the software so that there's a better "smart caddy" when you're playing VG3 courses.

They've also added more features/practice modes, especially building out more features in performance center.

And then of course they've added some INCREDIBLE new VG3 courses. Old Head came back in November, and it's awesome. I'm sure there are some other standouts in the past 6 months!

Trackman performance center is pretty cool. They've added an off the tee mode. The place I go is set up with a couple of cameras to capture real-time video that AI analyzes.

They're always adding new courses to Virtual Golf 3 as well. I think you'll enjoy it if you've been away for a while.

They just made a blog post about new motion analysis, very very similar to Sportsbox AI Studio (requires two cameras, better than the phone app version). Trackman is killing it.

Excited that they're developing all this stuff so that everyone else can copy them and come in cheaper haha. My only gripe is the ridiculous costs to owning/subscribing to Trackman. In what world is it worth $25k AND another $1100/yr, when the next closest competitor is basically $10k less and doesn't require a subscription (it's very easy to find GCQuad for sub $15k now).

Then I'd refer to the rest of my comments haha, as there's not really any new updates unique to the TM4 launch monitor itself. But TPS/VG3 software updates are extensive. 2025 was a great year for Trackman software!! Welcome back!! Join Week 2 of the golf league that just started!!
