UST Mamiya All In Putter Shaft

This thread deserves a bump.

I put the all graphite All In shaft in an Edel Array B-1 and have really been enjoying it. Black grip, black shaft, black putter head is a kick ass combo. As has been said a thousand times, the shaft offers a great stable and connected feeling.

Love it!

I really need to get off my butt and figure out what/how I want to go with on an All In. New putter with an All In? Just an All In to put into my 7S? And if just the shaft, which one is the best solution for that 7S. I've been mulling this for ages and still have no clear idea of what the best way to go is.

I wish I could get into a golf shop somewhere and try stuff out. Maybe a new putter is the way to go..... I just have no idea.

I feel ya big time. I wrestle with the same stuff all the time. I’m reluctant to tear apart a putter that I’ve had success with but I finally did that a while back with an old O Works putter I had…put the first all graphite All In shaft I purchased in it and then proceeded to have one of my worst putting performances ever, probably not shaft related but the mindfrickery took a different turn after that. 😂 Any time I practice with that O Works putter, I like the feel and seem to putt okay with it but haven’t been willing to take it out for a round again.

I am glad I have a second all graphite All In now in the Edel and have had good success with it...actually had a round with no 3 putts which is way more rare than it should be these days.

I also pondered just buying a stock Cleveland putter with All In since it’s one of the cheaper ways to get into one...but I also really just want to get a Toulon San Diego head and put an All In in it.

I probably need to just start doing my own club work.

S2S Tri-Hot JB Cruiser is curing. Shaft swap in progress! Grip on order.

I could have sworn I posted in here with the All-In swap into my Squareback 2.0 but clearly I didn't.

Thanks to @FlipFlop with a great deal on his Ai-One with this shaft in it, put it into the Scotty and used it last round.

Definitely a change from the stock steel, almost felt softer to me. Didn't have much warm up so distance control and pace is new but I did have some really good, longer putts that I was able to get inside 3ft.

Birdie putt was from just off the green that I was able to start online and it just tracked to the hole, I need more putts like that. Missed an Eagle putt by a few feet short as I'm still figuring out how to get the pace right.

Left the grip that came on it (Garsen Max) but will be pulling that off to put shaft extension in to get it back to the 38" length to really test against the stick shaft.

can't wait to see this in person.

Glad to hear it’s working well for you!

The MCraft Tokyo and Toulon Atlanta are getting the All-In treatment

So for all of you with more All In knowledge than me:

What shaft do I need to do an All In on a Slant neck putter (Ai One 7S)?

Will the all graphite option work properly?

I don't want to do a retro-fit, and want to go with the option that best gives the benefits of an All In

The retro-fit still gives all the benefits of the All-In. Its what I have in my slant next Sea Island and it's fantastic.

I more don't want retro fit because I don't want to wreck the SL90 on my Ai One as well.

for my slant neck putters I went with the steel tip based on conversations with Danny. The retro fits might work, but seem to work better with single or double bend shafts.

An all graphite will only work in a plumbers neck or that type of putter hosel.

Ok, so the best option is the one with the steel segment (not retrofit).

Thank you

That is the route I would go (and have for all my slant necks)

Do I retrofit my new to me Never Compromise or buy another one to retrofit?

I know but I'm still torn. Maybe I'll just cut up the nice one I have for the All-in and call it a day...or I do nothing. 🤷‍♂️

If you already know you like the All-In feel and performance, just retrofit the new to you NC. Otherwise, try the NC with the stock shaft and then see how it performs/feels as is. If you think it's missing something, then All-In it. Maybe?

I've never used a putter with an All-in, but at my putter fitting I used an NC that was so good I bought one. Hence my dilemma.

I think I'll putt with it for a bit and see how it goes first.

Been rolling a lot of putts with the 2 All-In-Retrofit-sporting finely milled workhorses while I decide what is my putter for this season, and one of them had a real big day today.

+0.19 SG against a 0 is spicy putting for me, and now I’m curious what this shaft might do in putter #3 🤦. The 2 with the All-In installed just feel much more stable, and I feel like I’m rolling much more confident putts.

Built and ready for the practice greens and the course. These feel great rolling them indoors I can’t wait to get outdoors with them

So I didn’t appreciate the feel for these. I pulled one of these from a putter and put a steel shaft in it. The feel from the putter noticeably firmed up.
