UST Mamiya LIN-Q PowerCore: The Game Changer Arrives

Wait - over in Ft Worth....I can drive the 25 miles over - lol!

Someone said the Powercore Blue is counterbalanced. Was the the M40x Blue counterbalanced as well? It's the best driver shaft I've ever owned...yet super tempted to get a Powercore Blue 6s to replace it. But didn't think the one I had was counterbalanced? Or am I overthinking it?
It is not a true CB shaft.

Don't worry we are good to go on inventory. Each customer is different but we have stock here in Texas for our customers.
Where in TX would you recommend going to test these out, or OK?

@DannyLe how does the standard Powercore Hybrid shaft compare to the TSPX Powercore Blue Hybrid shaft?

I will have a hybrid powercore shaft at some point.. lol
But which one? I'm asking because I know I'm ordering one and replacing my DART Hybrid and I'm wondering which way to go. If TSPX Blue will be largely similar to standard, well, my vanity will kick in and I might just order the TSPX for the cool factor, but I don't know if the transition from HDC 80 DARTS to the TSPX will be too much.

I wouldn’t think it would be too much if they are similar flex.

I need to look at them and see what options there are. I would want something in the 90 gram range and x flex.

After some advice, it'll be Red 7X for the 5W and a White 8X for the 7W! 7W will be built 1" short.
Elaborate please.

Trying to keep similar launch etc with the 5W as the driver?
Trying to just make the 7W a low flying monster?

(Apologies,I may have seen your answers to this in a later post)

I will have more thoughts when I get home. But the Red 6TX has creeped up into one of my favorite driver shafts of all time.

Saw my fastest ball speeds of the day with that shaft. Longest carry. Easily longest drives.
And it felt amazing.

First club with a Powercore has been ordered. Got the new TaylorMade Qi4D Tour 3W with a Blue 6S on order. Says it won't ship for ~3 weeks so I've got some time. Figure if the club/shaft combo doesn't work for me I'll be able to sell it but have high hopes

DIdn't see it mentioned before, looks like another OEM is offering the PC (!) - great catch @Nashtyone !

$150 upcharge isn't bad for what you get - curious why its the same cost as the old Linq. As a comparison, Ventus is the typical $350.

Oooh excellent catch!! My initial top drivers of choice in my head aren’t released yet but I will be EAGERLY looking to see if PC is an OEM option.

Similiar launch and feel for the 5W yes. It's also a second tee shot option. I did ask the Wise One to elaborate on the White because of how I perceived the release.

His response: "I am not worried about release in a 7 wood with the loft and spin generated. We want to keep launch/spin down a little for a 7 wood. I recommend also building this 1" short of standard."

So that's what were going with!

May I ask...which one is that? ;)

I also still get 60% off so it’s only a $60 upcharge for me. Was a big reason why I bought the club without hitting it first. At worst I’ll offer it to the forum for a hell of a deal if I don’t get along with it

Well, that has me adjusting what I am thinking on FW then!

Dang, thats a steal - excited to hear your review on the Qi4D. I mentioned it in the other thread, but I've never gotten along with the carbon face, but it seems this is a step change over Qi35.
