Launch has increased. Spin hasn’t been anything that one would consider high or low. I was seeing between 2300-2600 with it during the fitting. Currently playing. DS-Adapt Max K
I’ll keep an eye out! Thanks for the insights. Now that I’m starting from scratch for my driver I wanna take every avenue into consideration so wouldn’t rule out the red yet as I’ve never hit it.Launch has increased. Can’t specifically compare it to blue and white since I knowingly made the decision to not know what shaft I was using during the fitting.
I can tell you that I will have a white to compare to the red in a few weeks time. Not that that helps right now, but it’s worth noting in case you wait.
What profile do you usually play? And what specifically are you looking for?I’ll keep an eye out! Thanks for the insights. Now that I’m starting from scratch for my driver I wanna take every avenue into consideration so wouldn’t rule out the red yet as I’ve never hit it.
Hoping Club Champ or True Spec get these in locally soon
I come from a Ventus Blue. I have tested a PC White and Blue 6S that I blind bought over the past weeks and landed on the White between the two shafts as it was a great anti left shaft for me. What I’ve noticed though especially on course now that I’ve had time to use it for a few rounds is that my right miss is back and sometimes it was too low for my liking. What profile do you usually play? I mean I can still slice the ball in the most upright setting in the Max K with the red so you’re not going to get rid of a shape fully, but I only see that shape when I’m swinging uncommitted with the red. If I just swing with purpose (which has been my mantra with this shaft) there isn’t a straighter set up I’ve seen.I come from a Ventus Blue. I made the decision of PC white vs blue in a single sim session (which I probably shouldn’t have in hindsight, should have held onto both and tested both on course) where I was enamored with the anti left but after some more time with it, I can officially say my slice miss is back.
I mentioned in my FS post earlier today but wifey has graciously offered my anniversary gift to be a new fit driver so I can try out any and everything and all cards are on the table. That being said I dread the right miss that I worked hard to eliminate or lessen so I would prefer whatever driver I end up in to be more anti right
From my own thoughts I am thinking maybe the blue or red could be the answer to that where it’s a bit easier to turn over. Also curious on the upcoming new new heads as well to find a good match coming from my current 9* Smoke TD Max.
I came from a Ventus TR (before my WB), so I can definitely relate on some of this. Obviously this thread is on the Powercore, but I'm very curious how much the head will affect some of this (particularly your comment on flight being low). When you say right miss, what exactly are you seeing? High right fade? Shank? Something in the middle?I come from a Ventus Blue. This is me as well - something I've had to be really focused on. That is my miss! My man. Thanks for bringing up that point with PowercoreI came from a Ventus TR (before my WB), so I can definitely relate on some of this. In my fitting with @DannyLe , I mentioned to him I had two misses - duck hook left and sky high right. Given he noticed my release was quite late (which it is), the White made the most sense for me, and my right miss really came in because I was trying to "guide" my driver (vs just let my body & hands take over and turn the club in the right way). Because of the forgiveness of the Max K, combined with the stabilty of the Powercore, Danny just told me to commit and go after it - which immediately got rid of my right miss. That only comes into play now if I get lazy, so its usually my only swing thought after the tee.
I can't stress this enough - being able to fully commit to your swing and letting the club (& shaft) take over has been such a freeing concept. That is my miss! My man. Thanks for bringing up that point with Powercore
I shall try (eventually when I have it in hand!). I think some of my late release also comes from not going after it but my hips going full tilt and the club just never catches upI can't stress this enough - being able to fully commit to your swing and letting the club (& shaft) take over has been such a freeing concept.
I think that’s what I’m hoping to figure out with a proper fitting which I haven’t been able to have in quite a while. How much of it is head vs shaft. It’s why I want to start fresh, hit the FULL spectrum of PC offerings, get into a head to match, all while having the expert guide me.I came from a Ventus TR (before my WB), so I can definitely relate on some of this. Agreed a lot of it is swing related too and have seen the results when I fully commit. But with me seeing lower flight misses than I am accustomed to I’m wondering if a blue or red would be the play here. OR maybe it is the head and the white is still the right fit and a different head is better.I mean I can still slice the ball in the most upright setting in the Max K with the red so you’re not going to get rid of a shape fully, but I only see that shape when I’m swinging uncommitted with the red. Head will always do more than shaft when it comes to flight and spin so it very well could beAgreed a lot of it is swing related too and have seen the results when I fully commit. Either way it’s exciting times since I’m at square 1 so looking forward to getting a real fit in with the PC options
Yeah, I'm in Red 6X. I've played the LinQ Blue in fairways, White and TSPX Red in drivera and the UST proto before the Powercore.I know a lot of folks got fit in the white and blue in their big stick but has anyone got fit into the red in their driver?
I'm with my man Muchy here. Max-K 10.5 set to A1 currently.
End of the month is still what I'm hearing.@Lougle, any ETA on when we can do business?
You the man! I'll shoot you a PM.End of the month is still what I'm hearing.
But please send me a PM with what you need (specs and all) and I will get it for you zero problem at all (some problems for me, none for you)
Good call. Literally on a call right now with the ecomm team and they are getting stonewalled a bit at the moment. We have a giant whole company ERP change coming in March and it's creating some of these types of jams. You the man! I'll shoot you a PM.
Oh, those are often horrible exercises to go through. As is changing over e-commerce platforms when you have a revolving inventory and orders going on at the same time. Good luck with all that!Good call. Literally on a call right now with the ecomm team and they are getting stonewalled a bit at the moment. So let me take care of you for now.

I've done 3 platform changes in the 12 years I've been here, and now this. Hoping this sets us up for some sustainability but yes, it is the direct opposite of fun. I did marketing consulting for 10 years before my current job and working with clients when they were going through these always meant a crap load of work before, during and after.I've done 3 platform changes in the 12 years I've been here, and now this.
